Bendis chased me off of Avengers within the first arc. Secret Avengers has been underwhelming so far. I think Nick Spencer might do a good job, so I'm sticking with it, but I could easily see myself dropping it when Warren Ellis takes over. That guy does not play well with established characters and continuity, in my experience.

So Microsoft acquired Skype for almost $9 billion. So get ready to start being charged for that ****, also Kinect compatibility.

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news. oh well..

I have to wonder, what's the point though? Just make MSN messenger better.

Warren Ellis is sometimes really good though. Nextwave was one of the funniest things i have ever read a really :awesome: comic

I agree about Avengers though. I think i am only still reading it because of the occasional moments of greatness

Also my fangirl love for Victoria Hand. Bad ass brunette. In glasses. With dyed hair

Want :atp:

That goes with he doesn't play well with established characters part.

You mean Nextwave right, just say it.
Nextwave wasn't supposed to be in continuity, so I can't really fault Ellis for that. That's the fault of whatever moronic editor decided to have all those changes stick with the 616 versions of the characters involved.

I'm talking about his Thor work and a lot of hearsay about Astonishing X-Men and some other stuff. To be honest, I haven't read much of Ellis' Marvel work since Iron Man, so Secret Avengers is basically gonna be a test to see what he's like now for me.

I never really liked MSN mostly due to the interface, i've always been a Yahoo Messenger guy. So i'm guessing Skype will be embedded with MSN or vice versa?

His Astonishing X Men comic books were pretty darn horrible :down

Hope that his work on Secret Avengers will be a little bit better

But they're such brilliant satirists! :awesome:

I probably shouldn't say anything. I've never seen a single one of the Movie films.

Nextwave is one of the funniest comics i've ever read. Ellis T-Bolts run was also pretty awesome.

I wish people would stop watching their movies.

I have now watched 2 episodes of FLCL and I still can't really form an opinion on it.

It's just... aggressively weird. I literally can't say I understand enough of it yet to form an opinion. I can see some interesting undertones going on, but as a whole it's basically a very abstruse oddity at this point.

I'm writing fan fiction because I'm bored as ****.

"... and then Damian stopped punching Tim in the face and saw a beauty there he had never noticed before. He stroked Tim's hair, tears welling in his eyes as his face drifted closer, lips trembling but pursed..."

Not that type of fan fiction. I don't publish that stuff, it stays in my Trapper Keeper.

I love fanfiction

I have written so much slash fiction :woot:

Ugh. You know, I saw Date Movie. Once. Alyson Hannigan was literally the only decent thing about the movie.

Yep she was the only decent thing about it. i would watch her in anything

If only 90% of the other fanfic writers out there had your restraint. :csad:

Seriously, you want to write some fan fiction Corp, it's this little Ultimate DC shared universe type thing. You could write an Hourman series or some ****.

I've been trying not to write fan fiction lately. I've decided to just become an actual comic book writer one day, and THEN unleash my horrible fan fiction upon the world.
