The Guardian actully gave Thor decent reviews its more attacking him because they thing he wasted his talents or his not as successful as Daniel Day Lewis which seems rather random.

Yeah internationally it's already made like 120 million (film's budget is 150 million) so it just needs 40 million from US. I'm really glad a movie like this is doing well because it's a superhero fantasy, but you also gotta admit the humour can be considered really campy, but the humour ROCKS in this movie, seriously one of my favourite jokes:

I remember reading he was doing some theater gig (starring and some directing) and dropped that like a hot rock when he got the "Thor" gig

Yeah, 6 episodes on a 26 episode budget. Cool that it's on Netflix Instant; it's on Hulu, too. Seems strange that it was out of print for so long, now it's easy to find legally everywhere.
