Same here. I'm just glad we got the "rogue group tries to steal our supplies" thing out of the way. It's always included and no less eyeroll worthy than the nursing home Mexicans from TWD.

mushrooms are overrated....don't even bother

The mushrooms are just the catalyst, the person on the trip has to actually do the 'work' to get the most out of them.
I have tripped with many different kinds of people, but the most common boring reaction I have seen is the people want to try to be cool and take the trip, (cause they are into Pink Floyd and the Doors, and y'know, drugs are illegal, so that makes it cool to take them), but what they want to do is just pretend they are not tripping, and ignore the fact as much as possible, cause they are afraid of it's intensity. So, they just sit in silence, or talk in the usual small talk responses, wanting to just sit and watch videos and take no action, verbal or physical, to get the most out of their experience.

My close friends and I would all take the trips almost like a religious experience, very organised, we would plan them out days in advance, what we would do, where we would go, usually to coincide with someone's party, or when someone 's parents were away from their house and we were all invited round.
I'm talking when we were in our last year of school, and the couple of years after that.
Some of the best times of my life, we would go out to the park in the middle of the night and run around, roll down hills, talk to frickin statues, actually i was the only one brave enough to climb up and confront the statues, as they looked like they had come to life and were watching us, lol.

and talk, and laugh, a lot, get into the most surreal, interesting, hilarious conversations, hell, one time I got us all into doing this crazy chant together in the park in the middle of the night, until some random folk walked in on us, lol, and we got a little embaressed. We ended up recording that chant into a song.

You gotta squeeze that sponge baby, get all the juice out of it, enjoy it to the full, get as much out of it as you can and you will take something beneficial away from it, whether it's opening up avenues of your imagination or seeing life from a whole different perspective. It's up to you, not the mushrooms, y'know, they are just mushrooms, what the hell do they know, they are just there to get you to become a mushroom/human hybrid for the night, your human part needs to do the running, or else you would be as well ordering a pizza and sitting your ass on it all night, cause all you would be doing is turning yourself into a mushroom for the night.

most post apocalyptic stuff is cliche heavy....what matters is how its presented...

i really liked the conversation between the doctor and the captain about civilian needs vs military needs...the soldiers calling the civilians 'eaters' and all that....i hope its something addressed further

I agree some of it was interesting and there are definately some concepts worthy of further exploration in the show, it just didn't grab me. Also the fact that TNT keeps trying to shove Noah Wyle down my throat gets bothersome. Seems like the guy only plays one character and he has to be in education.

Soooo Netflix put up all the episodes of Power Rangers. It's not as amazing as I remember it to be... But it's still pretty cool.

If I watch enough of these I'm sure I can create some type of drinking game to go along with it.

I love Power Rangers. It's cheesy its ridiculous and i it. I think In Space was my favouritest series but i dug Lightspeed Rescue too. And of course I loved the original series though Lord Zedd scared me when I was little

sweet....the original MMPR was fun, i always liked SPD as well
