I remember how disappointed I was in Bill Clinton when I found out about his affair with Monica. I mean, JFK had Marilyn Munroe. The president needs to have standards for his affairs.

I love how people and by people I mean Republicans try to talk **** about Clinton. Fool left office with a surplus, now we're in a deficit so huge we're gonna have to start making up names for numbers soon. People also want to pile Obama in on that when he inherited the deficit, only one man created it.

So $3.4 million for midnight showings of GL, on par with XFC and Thor. Though there are many reports of half empty (or half full) movie theaters.

I prefer to think that it shows how busy he was. Clearly he just stuck his head out the door and grabbed the first piece of ass he could find. The man was running the free world! He's got no time to go seducing Hollywood starlets! :o

about how I saw it

Besides, Monica ain't ugly, and really, all he could see was the top of her head anyway. :o

On the other hand W isn't responsible for for my heath insurance nearly doubling in prices, and Clinton took credit for an economic recovery that actually started under Bush the Elder. My point being that Democrats talk **** just as much as anyone else. As I believe Mark Twain once said "Politics is the most perfectly named word in the English language, it comes from the Greek 'poli" meaning 'many,' and ticks meaning 'blood sucking insects'"

Yeah, all politicians are c**ts. Some more so than others........Mostly Republicans

true...but on the other end of that.....Elizabeth Kucinich, wife of Congressman Dennis Kucinich

just google her name

Yeah I know. He's banging a 9 and he's a 2 on a good day.

Gotta respect the little fella for pulling that off.

I don't care if he Bush the Grey started it, Clinton did something unprecedented by taking it and running with it, unlike W who took a **** on everything Clinton and pops did.

So moving away from the politics, the new trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes is pretty damn good. Still couldn't pay me to watch it though.

I don't know, looks like it might be pretty good.

I think the movie should be a comedy, i still can't get over the idea of apes winning humans with nuclear weaponry. :p Oh and i lolled at this: "I hereby declare Green Lantern the worst superhero movie ever made. And yes I count The Phantom and The Shadow as superhero movies. Green Lantern was the cheapest-looking 300 million dollar movie I've ever seen. Why didn't they give that money Africa? It had a couple of good moments, all coming from Mark Strong. But oh man." - Mark Millar.

Best thing Clinton did, was a Republican thing, welfare reform. The problem with both sides right now is that they are to worried about 2012 to do anything meaningful. They are afraid to compromise because if they do and it works, the other side would take credit. Neither party is actually better than the other. Democrats have an easier time of it, because their philosophy allows them to spend other people's money to buy votes.

That's the problem with politics (aside from everything else). People see it as a black and white sort of thing. It's either this or it's that. It's conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat, us or them, good or evil, etc. or add some other stuff.

Nothing is black and white. There are asians and hispanics too.

Oh man, if Mark Millar thinks it's bad... it must delve into new levels of bad... ness.

Where is that quote from anyway?

What? You expect people to just nuke a city cuz they're overrun by talking apes?

I find it a little hard to care when I've already got a pretty good idea of how it'll end: The ape win, and they blew it up (damn you to hell!)

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I loved The Shadow! :cmad:

I'm confused, if Millar thinks it's bad, doesn't that make it good? My whole perception of logic is out the window.
