no, you read that on my FB page, which btw i was wrong because i posted that an hour before a it started and had no idea 4 other rooms were sold out.

Yes, because I get all my news from your FB. Almost every site I've gone to has people talking about how empty the their theaters were. They might be talking **** but honestly I don't doubt it.

Especially when you factor in the cost of a 3-D ticket against a 2-D ticket for X-Men: First Class. Not a good sign for GL.

Gorillas are the only non-human primate I'd trust being around. They're docile herbivores. It's the chimps and the orangutans you've gotta worry about.

Yep i think I might check that movie out. i liked the first two Apes movies

Why not Darth

Are you an ape-ist :wow:

It just looks dumb to me. Like at the end of the day it might be a well made movie but it just seems unnecessary and again dumb.

What about Grodd. He eats people and taffy's their minds

Grodd's evil.

And he's smart enough to supplement his diet with vegetation. People are a sometimes food.

I never saw a zombie at the zoo.

So real creatures with actual intelligent tool use and social organization that's just amplified to exaggeration for a movie is dumb compared to the walking dead?

See, you guys think I'm saying the apes are what make the movie dumb. No, I'm talking about the humans not seeing this coming. All these super smart people getting ambushed by super intelligent apes. I mean, at the end of the day, sure they're super smart apes and have physical abilities but we have guns and ****. Ridiculous.

And I love the original Planet of the Apes. I don't need to know why they ended up that way.

What the trailers need to explain better is that it's the panic that leads to the apes being able to take over. Guns and **** are one thing, but once all those diseases that we test on laboratory apes get out and panicked evacuations start spreading them further, it starts to make a lot more sense.

Also, I find it very believable that no matter how super smart someone is, most people tend to underestimate other animals to the point that they'd never see it coming until it's too late. Science doesn't even officially admit that other animals could possibly have emotions. Arrogance and panic are what will likely lead to our downfall in that movie.

But hey, if you think it's dumb, that's fine. Nobody's making you see it. I'm going to be there though.

Like I said, it could very easily be a very good movie but the trailers are doing nothing for me. The last trailer was a lot better because it focused more on the apes. I'm not saying the premise isn't believable but I think you underestimate humanity's position on animals. At the end of the day humans fear animals, hence why our gut reaction is to shoot it.

So that's how he stays in such good shape

Other people eating gorillas should follow the Grodd diet

Ugh, why am I here on a Friday night? Where are my e-bros?

Took a f***ing hour and a half to get my pizza tonight. It takes less than an hour and a half to drive all the way from one side of Gainesville to the other and back, for Christ's sake. I miss the days of "30 minutes or less." When did that go away? :csad:

I got tired of waiting over an hour for my pizzas, so I just started picking them up.

When 30 minutes or less became unrealistic by the dumb people they hire.

The whole point of ordering pizza for me is that I don't have to leave my house. Delivery from other places costs too much. :o

I usually use the "buy one get one free" online coupon for my pizzas.

Pizza Hut. I needs my stuffed crust.

Pizza Hut is ****ing delicious. Nobody else in my house likes it. Pisses me the **** off.

I remember being in Nicaragua and they had the stuffed crust with actual toppings like pepperoni in the crust, amazing. Then they brought it over here and all was good in the world.

I actually didn't like the stuffed crust with pepperoni and stuff in it. I like pure, undiluted cheesy goodness in my crusts.
