Trying explain what Green Lantern is.
Yeah, like the fact that your friends never watched JL. That show was f***ing awesome!![]()

Turns out "The Man" was a little blue dude who lived on Oa...Try explaining why The Green Lantern isn't Black to your militant cousin.
I'm aware of that absolute fact. You know what they watched instead? American Idol. Everytime I saw them, DID YOU SEE IDOL LAST NIGHT?!?
No. Did you see Justice League?
uhhhhh, no, why you watching kiddie toons?
Cuz I'm not a c**t that's why.![]()
That is gonna be my response to anyone who questions why I still watch so many cartoons from now on.I'm aware of that absolute fact. You know what they watched instead? American Idol. Everytime I saw them,

The only correct response to that question, when someone has just asked if you watched Idol or Jersey Shore, is a punch in the face. That is gonna be my response to anyone who questions why I still watch so many cartoons from now on.
I have thankfully avoided having too many friends who are into American Idol thus far. Although one of the people from my previous job whom I still hang out with is dangerously into Jersey Shore. I now know some of those *****ebags' names, God help me. I may have to cut her loose before too long...

Hmm, I was watching Cheers yesterday and saw Roz pop up in a bit part in an episode. Watching a Married with Children episode and the guy who played the chef critic in Frasier just popped up in a bit role. I smell...conspiracy.

True that. Sme thing happens over here.and that's what makes this whole mess a quagmire.....Americans complain about immigrants taking the jobs, but want cheap food
anytime someone *****es about things being "Made in America", I ask if they are ready to pay triple for it
The guy who plays Roy in the IT CROWD is the latest Judd Apatow crew member.Ugh, my brother and his wife have gotten into that s**t. At least they know better not to bug me about it.
I have managed to get them to watch shows like Skins(UK), IT Crowd, and a ton of other s**t. So, It balances out in the end.
Hey! I just noticed it's my 9 year anniversary today! Woot!

I love how some clueless gaming sites have mentioned the Red Robin costume and guessed that maybe it's Dick's. Ah, the intellectual superiority of knowing about s*** from a tiny niche market.![]()
Haha i saw this one guy blaming Stan Lee for whitewashing Green Lantern, oh general audience!Hey, at least it must've been refreshing to come at that from the opposite end of the spectrum. How many times have you had to explain why the GL movie features some white dude instead of the "real, black GL"?![]()

I did find it strange that there had to be tons of young mutants out there to recruit, but Charles & Erik paid for a private lap dance from the young hot mutant stripper.

And i am sure they took their time while they were there. I really doubt they were in any hurry to leave![]()
I find it to be the opposite of strange.
It is practically the pinnacle of things which are in no way difficult to understand at all.

Learning that Chuck was a massive poon hound with terrible lines in college made me very uncomfortable. They made themselves nice & comfortable and ordered drinks. I'm sure if that scene continued for just five seconds longer, we would've heard Charles say, "Nice wings. Now show us your ****."
It's difficult to understand when Charles and Erik are involved. I spent the whole movie wondering if they were into women or each other-- though I guess that makes it fairly comic accurate.
