Tried switching to other radio stations. That works just as well. Better in fact.

not around here it doesn't. there are 4 types of radio stations here: country, classic rock, npr, and the student radio coming from the university. the student radio would be ok, but every time i start to get into a show it ends and the gregorian chant hour with ras trent starts

I'm glad there are still people out there discovering Janelle Monae, yet upset that it's taking so long for people to discover her in the first place.

The other day I randomly recalled Nubsybutter posting about her like last year on here, so I finally downloaded some stuff from her. Damned fine all around. She does still engage in a few of the annoying pop/R&B clichés on a few of her songs, but for the most part she's great.

I'm loving it so far. I like that it's a little lighter than the doom and gloom of the other series. I also like how they're not like this tight knit group of friends. This series has potential.

I think it was extremely necessary. I'm trying to save people from catching Drz's excitement for a movie that is obviously going to be terrible and then being disappointed. It's a public service.

Right on. For the most part I agree, although I do miss how the first generation was a close knit group of friends, I'm interested to see the evolution of this group. The last generation was more or less a clusterfck of kids who happened to party together.
