I haven't been asked yet, but I hope so. I'll allow it.

So you get Friday off? The new job's got benefits already! :awesome:

I go in for like an hour to clean off my desk and do my exit interview...I left early today...what are they gonna do? fire me??

Fab

Are you excited BlackLantern

yes...a bit

I'd say the key to making a good Hulk story is to use a version of the Hulk who's capable of holding a conversation or at least thinking like a human being. The reason so many people like the Hulk is because it create a more mature version of the Savage Green Hulk.

ummmm who are you talking to??...the reason people like the Hulk is because he breaks s*** real pretty like...he touches that primal part in all of us that just want to cut loose and wreck s****

My brother and his wife had their baby this morning. First grandkid. So please, for the rest of 6.5, refer to me as Uncle Womp. Thanks.

don't you tell me what to do

Sorry. I was thinking of myself. The only time I like the Hulk is when he's written like a real character and not a smashing machine. That bit tends to get old pretty fast.

well aren't you the monocle wearing tea drinking sissypants:oldrazz:

my preference is what he was in Planet Hulk....reasonable intelligence, but still savage

I think I prefer the Avengers cartoon to World War Hulk's portrayal, though I suppose their intelligences are fairly similar. I would have like to see Ed Norton's Hulk in control in a third movie.

I dig how he has been written in the cartoon

I like a happy medium. His fight against Zeus recently was perfect.

Haha, you mention that the Hulk's main appeal is that he's a mindless smashing machine, then cite as your preference a story where he's very much not that. That's why you're my fave, Blanty-face. :D

to the unwashed masses, yes that is his appeal....I have my personal preference but I know that view is not shared by the mouthbreathers

I should have clarified

My favorite part of "Planet Hulk" (the comic story, not the movie) was the part where Banner accepted the Hulk and gave him his blessing to live a happy life with Caiera. :atp:

You should take a look at some of those post-Heroes Reborn stories with the Hulk, if you ever spot any. The Hulk and Banner got separated and the resultant Bannerless Hulk was very much like the Green Scar version: moderately intelligent but very surly and gruff. Also, the Thunderbolts were introduced in one of those stories.
