Superman should always have his pope hat :awesome:

I don't regret going to seeing it in the cinema or anything. Honestly, you can probably just tell by looking at the trailers how you'll feel about it, honestly. It doesn't quite make the leap in the depth department that I felt they wanted, but still a lot of fun action and imagination.

Ah, well, I wouldn't go that far or anything. To it's credit, it really isn't that bad of a song on itself, but ya know, they're covering The mother****ing Pixies. Here's the song via our good friend, YouTube:

There are some bands you just dont cover

Ever :ninja:

i like to cuddle. it's never just spooning, but yeah mostly spooning

D'awwwww me too

Amy Adams is adorable :atp:

I remember hearing a horrible, horrible cover of 'Unchained Melody' done on acoustic guitar....I wanted to crawl through the radio, find that a-hole, and kill his face

it was a cover that almost made me hate music

Warren Beatty needs to tell Frank Miller how to adapt a pulp comic into a movie
OThough, two things that annoyed me was the lack of Jon Hamm. For some reason, I thought he had a big role, but it wasn't a lot more than cameo honestly. And there was a truly horrible cover of The Pixies' 'Where is My Mind?' that made me want to jump threw the screen and straggle someone.
Is David Fincher gonna have to choke a b****!
Wuh, I actually love First Blood. I can't stand the rest of those ****** Rambo movies, though. I like the first Rocky, too. Kind of think it's overrated but caught it on TV awhile back and thought higher of it.
How can people not like First Blood when it has the greatest line about a character ever

"You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands.

A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke.

In Vietnam his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well Rambo was the best. "
:lmao: Starring a half-naked muscular Scot playing a Greek.
Who shouted alot

Well, I got back from watching Sucker Punch. It was a lot better than my expectations had for it, though a lot of the criticism (the rather messy story, for example) is pretty spot on and, though I think Snyder was shooting for a lot more depth in the storytelling in this, he missed fairly hardcore. But, it really did ooze imagination and was like pretty much nothing else that came to my mind. It's rare that we get a filmmaker who can just let himself go nuts with this kind of style, so it's a nice bit of lightening to look at. I would probably call it his best film.

Glad to hear!

god no. the spirit was fun, it's the scream of superhero movies, and at least millar didn't ruin the movie by putting himself the chick he was banging in lead roles to stink up the good work done by the rest of the cast

Dick Tracy had a great cast....even Madonna was good...she was supposed to be a total ****e

I am tempted to find the song on Youtube to learn how terrible it is

The Spirit made me :lmao:

You don't want to....I understand that the 1965 version is a cover of the original 1955 song, but at least that was good.

this version was soooooo bad, don't stain your brain, The Righteous Brothers would spin out of their graves.

Superman Returns almost made me hate Superman

I really hope the new film will be better

I saw Sucker Punch last night with my Girlfriend and she loved every aspect of the film, as did I. I thought it was a ingenius portrayal of action and something I have never seen on screen. It was something that I think will gain a following long after it is out of theaters. Its a good movie and its CREATIVE the one thing this board constantly *****es about is Re-makes and how all the creativity is gone in Hollywood, well guess what Snyder, Abrams and Nolan along several others are the future of the film industry. This film is creative in ****ing doses and its awesome. I will say that the story was pretty simple and the plot was thin but what the **** were you expecting from this movie? It's not gonna be your next action/fantasy masterpiece its going to be a stylized action/fantasy movie with heaving bussoms and skimpy outfits. Plus with this movie being so clearly aimed at a certain audience I expect the studio will make there money back, my theater was about 3/4 full and I saw a later show so yeah I expect this to be seen as a success and I anxiously await Superman: Man of Steel from Snyder because if he even does 1/10th the action he did in this movie it will be worth it.

8/10

Those are my views on Sucker Punch. Yes I know it making back its budget is a fair bit unlikely but hey I hope it does.

loving 300 means you are a heterosexual male who loves America and violence and boobies and all the things that make movies like that awesome.

So true. Makes me want to watch it right now.

I dunno. Watching 300 is probably the 2nd most homoerotic film this decades, behind A Single Man. Make no mistake though, their homoeroticity does not diminish their quality.
