I don't know, man, I gave up on that and JLA so long ago. And I never heard anything but bad things about them, it seems.

Another ****. He's wearing a skirt.

Man, what the hell? I just cannot believe anyone came up with this design as a real thing.

What the what

That is not a costume

That is a christmas tree decoration

His costume lookes like it was designed by the people who make lego

Jesus on a stick. Is this really Alan ****ing Scott's new costume?

jsa_cv49-copy.jpg

He looks like a god damn beer stein. Can he even move his head? This is worse than any Rob-Liefield-90's-Az-Bat-Pouches-Shoulder-Pads-Abortion I have ever seen

Can he move at all

Look at him. Just look at him

Even the other members of the JSA look ashamed to be sharing a cover with this

He cant move his arms head or legs

Are the JSA just going to start beating enemies senseless with his paralysed body

That can't be his new costume. It can't. It has to be just some weird one thing or something

I hope you are right Tron Bonne

Look at how horrified Jay is of Alan's new costume.

I dig the red boots but it looked much better with the pvc pants i think

If Wonder Woman has to wear pants i want them to be skintight shiny and pvc :atp:

Yeah thats great! Also very pleased to hear Hawkeye will resemble his Ultimate look, really this is also how his introduction should be in the Avengers film:
hawkeye is not the punisher god damnit!!!:argh:

Word, as long as the costume is the only thing that they bring to the film from Ultimates, I'm ok.

if they port ultimates 1 hawkeye i'd be ok, but volume 2 is where he really starts to get ridiculous.

just noticed another fix to the wonder woman costume, the heels of her boots went from 3-4 inches to about 1 inch like a men's dress shoe. hopefully that isn't just for action sequences.

For fans of BBC3's Being Human and the American remake a new Supernatural show.

New BBC Three Supernatural Show The Fades Starts Filming

Created by This is England ’86 writer Jack Thorne, it promises to be Freaks & Geeks meets Ghostbusters… but a lot darker.

The BBC has announced that filming has begun on The Fades, a new supernatural horror made by 2011 RTS Award-winning writer, Jack Thorne (This Is England ’86, Skins, The Scouting Book For Boys, Cast Offs). It was previously announced as The Touch; we wonder whether the change has anything to do with the Kiefer Sutherland-starring US TV pilot Touch, currently in production?

The series, which will air later this year, comprises six by 60-minutes episodes, and is a co-production with BBC America.

Iain De Caestecker (left, River City, Coronation Street) is playing Paul, a young man haunted by apocalyptic dreams that neither his therapist or best friend and fellow geeky social outcast Mac can explain. Worse, Paul is starting to see the Fades – the spirits of the dead – all around him. They’re everywhere but they just can’t be seen, smelt, heard or touched by living beings. But now an embittered and vengeful Fade has found a way to break the barrier between the dead and the living and Paul, Mac and their friends and family are all right in the eye of the storm.

Thorne says: “The Fades was born from a trip into executive producer, Sue Hogg’s office. She asked me what drama of the last ten years I wished I’d written. I said the American cable show Freaks & Geeks. I was wearing a Ghostbusters t-shirt, she said, ‘What about Freaks & Geeks meets Ghostbusters’? And I smiled and nodded enthusiastically. But the further we’ve gone along – and it’s been five years since that meeting – the more seriously we’ve taken the fantasy and the mythology and so the comedy is subtler and a newer, fresher, hopefully more exciting show has emerged. I feel so lucky to be part of the team that’s bringing it to the screen. Everyone from our location manager to our FX supervisor are so committed and we have such an amazing cast. I’m quite literally in dreamland right now.”

Other members of the cast include: Daniel Kaluuya (Skins, Psychoville, Sucker Punch) as Mac; Tom Ellis (Miranda, Merlin) as Mark, a teacher under suspicion since his ex-wife Sarah went missing, feared dead; Johnny Harris (This is England ’86, Spartacus) as Neil, a lone warrior against the forces of darkness, who becomes Paul’s unlikely mentor; Daniela Nardini (This Life, A Street Car Named Desire) as Helen, who, like Paul, has an extraordinary ability which will prove useful in the fight to save mankind; Lily Loveless (Skins) as Anna, Paul’s twin sister, who finds being related to someone like Paul rather annoying; Claire Rushbrook (Ashes To Ashes) as Meg, Paul and Anna’s mum; Theo Barklem-Biggs (Age of Heroes, Miranda) as PC Phillip Firth; Jenn Murray (Day of the Triffids) as Natalie; and Sophie Wu (Kick-Ass) as Jay.

Kate Harwood, BBC Controller Drama Series & Serials adds: “The minute I read Jack Thorne’s script I realised we were in exciting new territory. This is a vision of great imagination and I am thrilled that we have such a talented cast and that we have director Farren Blackburn and a brilliant team who can bring this vision to life…or half life!”

lol@ Alan's new costume. As if I couldn't care any less about him

I think Alan Scott's new costume just made me vomit in my own mouth a little.

That costume is atrocious and The Wonder Woman costume actually looks better and I think I could watch the show now. Her boob job still looks horrible though.

No that looks like a messed up boob job, I have never seen a push up seperate the boobs while pushing them up.
