Richard Ayoade (Moss from the I.T Crowd) is the new Wes Anderson apperantley. Thats what all the critics are saying about his acclaimed Ben Stiller produced movie Submarine.I love Wes Anderson but I can't stand Arrested Development.
God I love The Wire is more addictive than the crack that features in the episodes. One of the best Tv shows ever made.Breaking Bad and The Wire are pretty much all the television you'll ever need. And I guess Archer...and Futurama...and Venture Bros....and Dr. Who.
And I know that people have their opinions and I should respect them but Arrested Development is terrible/writing Wes Anderson movies off as simply just quirky, pretentious movies is just wrong.
British Tv is super liberal. Anything after 9pm is fair game.Problem with living in Asia is we get stuff late and things go get censored quite a bit. For example, why should I watch the HBO Asia version of Boardwalk Empire when I know 40% of the content is going to be cut out or re-edited?
It's weird how we can't get nudity on such shows but the violence in series like Band of Brothers and The Pacific is fine.
I channel flip between Star World (which is a Hong Kong channel) and FOX Asia most of the time. Life, Prison Break, Law and Order...These are shows I enjoy though they tend to vary in quality over time. Shows I hate are CSI, NCIS and a plethora of other Crime dramas that tend to overblow criminal investigations with glitz and glamor.
Crack Fox is the stuff of nightmares where as is Bob Fossil in dragEverytime I see it I think of the Crack Fox from The Mighty Boosh.
I bet that women has alot of cats

The BBC just made a victorian prositutes version of Pretty Women with full frontal nudity. Its supposed to be their most edgey show they have ever made and considering They showed costume romps like The Tudors and Tipping The Velvet means it must be really risque
wow, saw the thor clip on the main page and i wa right, Kat Dennings ruined the movie. ****
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!He needs to direct a dark place movie

Being a TV screenwriter in America these days must be the easiest job around you just watch a British show Americanize it and then count your moneyMTV has picked up its remake of the award-winning British series The Inbetweeners to series with a 12-episode order. Brad Copeland wrote the adaptation and serves as the showrunner. He is executive producing with Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, creators of the original series, and Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment.
The Inbetweeners, which was greenlighted to pilot in September, stars Joey Pollari (Avalon High), Bubba Lewis (To Save a Life), The Virginity Hit star Zack Pearlman and Mark L. Young (Big Love) in a high-school comedy described as Superbad meets Freeks and Geeks. It revolves around four high school boys (Pollari, Lewis, Pearlman, Young) who belong to the "inbetweeners" social class -- teens who are not the most cool and popular but not geeky enough to be branded uncool. Taika Waititi (The Flight of the Concords) directed the pilot. This marks the third series pickup for Kapital Entertainment out of 4 produced pilots. The company has 3 more pilots now filming at the broadcast networks.
There is no word yet on the future of another high-profile British adaptation at MTV, controversial teen drama Skins, which recently wrapped its first season. Unlike the racy, sexually-charged Skins, Inbetweeners is said to be a more innocent and sweet look at coming-of-age. The Inbetweeners pickup follows another recent order of a new scripted series, drama I Just Want My Pants Back.
