Just saw the first episode of the X-Men anime. While I loved the utterly gorgeous animation the scripting was hilarious when spoken in Japanese. Wolverine suddenly grew like 3 feet taller and Cyclops has my vote for sexiest male X-Man in this version.

Storm is a total hottie in this one. Gotta say I'm sort of kind of happy they went with the Halle Berry short hair look from X2. I've always been a traditionally a Jim Lee Storm fan (the white suit) but this look suits her pretty well.

On the matter of American properties being adapted into anime, I hope Marvel pushes for Ghost Rider to get anime'd next. Get the guys who did the Devil May Cry anime to handle it. Get someone like me to write it. I have a hell of a original Ghost Rider story to tell.

What is your idea for a Ghost Rider story sandwraith

Too epic for words. Basically it was just turning Danny Ketch into a wandering hippie with a dark past riding with his biker gang. He becomes Ghost Rider, starts traveling the roads, going wherever the Spirit of Vengeance is needed. He's all Zen and forgiveness as Danny Ketch but punishment and fury as Ghost Rider. Give him some Alan Moore like angles and Ghost Rider could be the Marvel version of Swamp Thing.

Oh, and I'd make Danny kind of like a guy who's been around since the 90s, back when The Crow was the in thing and Goth was cool. He'd still lose his sister Barbara but under different circumstances and her death still triggers him becoming Ghost Rider. So he's sort of immortal, he "died" in the 90s when he was 20-something and he'll look 20-something for the rest of the story. Oh, and he'd be a vegetarian. 'Cause he's all bodhi-like.

Why Danny Ketch? Dunno. I was raised on Ketch rather than Johnny Blaze.

Devin Grayson had something going in her Hammer Lane storyline. But I'm not sure why it just didn't click in the end. There was something that felt...missing. Maybe that supernatural feel. Or the sheer goofiness of Ghost Rider going after victim after victim for "vengeance". It had the whole eye for an eye leaves everyone blind moral but she could have pulled it off better.

It could have been beyter but it was still pretty neat. I really dig Devin Grayson comic books apart from the time she taffyed Nightwing. Other than that i her work
