okay am i the only person bothered by the zombies ever increasing SPEED and DEXTERITY???

seriously... it takes me out of the moment a few times an episode.

a zombie with strength and dexterity to hold the weight of a man hanging from a window?

The minute you think the writers would never go to a certain length or a certain point in the story is the minute you're wrong. Especially in terms of a character death. This is a grown-up show. Just because the audience likes a character doesn't mean they're untouchable.

Yeah, sometimes it seems like they are almost full on sprinting. Thought they were supposed to be slow and lumbering 'walkers'? What happened?

As soon as the fat guy said "i'll go too" everyone knew it was a wrap for him. Fat boy running around on COD missions with zombies everywhere? It could have only ended one way. I didn't know he'd go out like that though, that was hard watching him get turned into a buffet table.

Someone explain something to me though. The zombie who had hanged himself, he had his legs eaten off by walkers. Obviously, this happened after he hung himself, so apparently the walkers DO eat dead flesh. But I thought you turned as soon as you died? So either he died and the virus took a while to kick in, or zombies eat dead people. Or is it just another plot hole...

Shane did a horrible thing, but it seems the situation was either one of them makes it, or neither of them do. Say Shane doesn't shoot him...they both die, then Rick's son dies. Doesn't excuse what he did, but it makes it a little easier to swallow. Easier then the zombies swallowed their Otis fu yung.

Was I the only one who thought when Shane checked the patch on his head it was a bite?

I thought it was a bite at first. lol

Thought Jenner said the turn time varied from case to case, could be a day, minutes even seconds I thought he said.

I just choose to believe the hanging didn't go as planned, he may not have died as quickly as he'd have liked, he could have been surrounded right before he decided to drop off the branch.
Now....
Last week when they met with Hershel and crew, wasn't there some other guy on the porch when Rick ran up with Carl in his arms. I thought I remember him grabbing a bat as Rick was walking up. So where is he at, I mean not even introduced yet? He tending to the.......barn?

For a second, I thought it was a bite. But then I remembered the preview trailer for the rest of the season showing Shane quite few times with a shaved head. When Jim got bit, he was feverish within a day. It didn't make sense that Shane would be up and about.

Speaking of the trailer, I remember Dale saying to Shane "I know what kind of man you are" and not sounding too pleased when he says it. At first, I thought he might be referring to Shane/Lori, but now....

Man this weeks episode sucked(for me). Thank goodness we got the Shane revelation cause if you take that out...

Please enough with the needless scenes of supposed character work. It wouldn't be so bad if there was tangible progression but they just go around in circles. I mean look at Andrea. All the time spent on her and is she any worse or better off..god knows. Are they really going to keep these people searching around the woods for 3 episodes? I truly am curious as all hell what this little girl got herself into. I mean geez.

Lori being lori. Rick making speeches, tears, and glen doing nothing. And what's up with this farm. They got a fence and no one keeping guard, not sure I'm buying how lax they all seem. Thank goodness for Shane. Keeping the spirit of the novel alive.

Next episode can only go up from here. I noticed Maggie pointed out some lost family members. I hope that means what I think it means.

Haha I watch the show with my aunt and she's been asking the samething as well. I don't remember the guy being there, but apparently he was!

Watching Talking Dead...why did they have Napolean Dynamite come on? I can understand Felicia Day because she's nerd eye candy, but Heder? I prefer the "Horror expert" matched up with the comic. Was really hoping we'd get Romero before Halloween, ah well.

Damn click on the link thinking its tonight episode but instead it was the talking dead and they immediately said that Shane killed Otis :(

It was an ok episode,
this second season looks very good, but they need to move on with the story right now !
I mean are they gonna spend half the season looking for that child ?
i'm affraid that with the kid recovering we're gonna get stucked in that farm for a while ...

and also i can't stand b.itchy andrea anymore..

She's not really being *****y.... she's got a perfectly good reason to be pissed.

I think what Shane did was acceptable I could care less about Otis but I like Shane survival of the fittest.

I hate "very special" episodes of series with children in danger. I seem to remember that they are showing 8 episodes and then taking a break. That tells me that they are either leaving that farm next week so they can move on to somewhere else and start the real storyline, or they'll just waste time and stick around doing nothing for 5 more episodes. My hope is that they leave next week...but I get the feeling that they will busy themselves until the 8th episode, where they will arrive somewhere and we'll get a shocking ending that makes us wait...like maybe the return of Merle or something.

I don't really see how it's a "very special episode" to have children in danger... It's the ****ing Walking Dead. Everyone is in danger. If a character isn't in danger, it's because they're already dead.

The main focus of the past two shows has been to save one boys life with medicine and find a little girl who is lost. Remove the zombies and you have a "very special" episode. I prefer for the kids to be background characters, not the entire purpose of every plot. I'm ready for the kids to just sink back into the background and let the story progress.

Ugh, just please wait until the season is over before you watch anymore episodes. I ask the same of anyone else complaining every week.

Anyway you can justify what Shane did all you want but that was f**king disgusting hahah.

Wow, I was absolutely shocked by the ending. Coming from someone who's read the comics, as others have here, I'm sure they had the same reaction.

I was actually really liking Otis. What Shane did was shocking and horrible, but God he had to make a decision. If he didn't get to their son, he would die. But Jesus, it's one of those things that The Walking Dead is mainly about.

Otis dying this soon was one of the things that made it so shocking. And I'm sure they're building up to Shane's death in the finale. That would be one hell of a way to go out this season. No one would see that coming, much less Carl doing it.

It's one of the reasons why I'm glad they're not sticking to the comics completely. Stuff like this takes me off guard and now it doesn't make all the characters so immortal or at least predictable to live anymore.

What?

Is Otis still alive in the comics/remained alive for a much longer duration? If so then I'd be shocked as hell too during that moment.

damn shane...damn..I want to justify what happened...but damn shane

I get why Shane did what he did, but that was kind of brutal.

He could have at least shot Otis in the head to make more mercy-full.

I kind of hate Shane now...just when I was starting to like him. :cmad:

Good episode...But please lessen the crying, yes?

He saved her life. In a very little while she's going to see how right he was. She's a pain in the ass right now.

If she wants to end her life, I'm very curious as to what's stopping her.
