Like I said, the original content for the show has always been its weak point, and the more we get of it, the worse it'll get.

I feel the same way for any comic adaptation really.

Honestly the comic, as a whole isn't that amazing. I think that's why I like the show so much. It just uses the comic as a template, and expands and improves on some of the aspect of the comic that are just not that good.

It is dialogue heavy. And personally the trolling on Rick through out the comic just gets ridiculous. I find myself looking at the comic and saying out loud, irl, "Really? *****ing really?!?" a lot.

Do not post spoilers from the upcoming season finale of The Walking Dead until it airs on Sunday. This will be your only warning and I will ban anyone who does not comply.

Thought I better put this in here too

Thats what an adaptation should do. They've tested the material and know what works or didn't work. They have the chance to improve it. Like keeping Shane alive for so long.

The show is just average to me. Where I find the comic its based off of to be amazing. Now, if the two were completely unregulated, I'd still feel the same way. Its not average because of the changes, its average because its average.

thanks.

Wait, I already did in another forum, under a spoiler tag. So do I get in trouble for this? I didn't know spoilers were against the rules anymore.

They're normally not. I've deleted your post and other posts with spoilers at AMC's request. You're good so long as you don't post them again.

I guess, even though it was like 2 mins of screen time, we really don't know how long Rick sat there waiting for Shane to turn (if that's what he was doing). He killed Shane, cried and all that, then the screen just faded to black...and then came back with Rick just sitting there, for all we know, it could have been a couple hours? Maybe thats how Carl snuck out of the house, while most were sleeping?

And lord knows I'm probably one of 8 people not that pressed for Michonne. I'm so sick of hearing all the wank for her to appear in the show.

She won't seem so awesome b/c we already have Daryl. But the show needs less mopey cattle though.

Daryl will have his crossbow, she will have her samuri sword and hopefully they'll give T-Dawg a flamethrower!

Just because Darabont is a successful filmmaker doesn't neccesarily mean he's going to be a successful showrunner too. The transition from movies to tv series isn't easy. Spielberg is having it tough too. There's a whole set of problems you wouldn't normally have in a movie: budget, time, deadlines, etc. It's a whole different thing. I liked what he did, but the show was becoming a little sterile. I'm curious to see what happens next.

As he dies he needs to do another Will Smith one liner

I hope he says, "Welcome back to earth..." when he kills a new zombie.

Have any of you seen the "Reaction" video's on youtube of this weeks Ep? Some of them are funny as hell. Alot of people are not happy about the ending. LOL:woot:

Think it's possible for Jorge Garcia and Michael Ironside for Eugene and Abraham?

Jorge, is a cool... only name-actor I could think of.

But, Ironside would be sick as Abraham.
