With Sparticus it was the CGI stab wounds that wierded me out more than the fake blood. :(

So AMC is awesome and is repeating the first two eps of season 3 along with episode 3 this Sunday so I'll finally have a chance to catch up.

However.

I just watched Judge, Jury, Executioner.

[BLACKOUT]RIP Dale :-( You were one of the good ones[/BLACKOUT]

Lets just say a person got an official script, signed by the ep writer/show runner, for the season 3 priemere ep and wanted to sell it. Think that person could get a decent amount of money for it now? Maybe after the series ended?

Only if the signatures were authentic.....

I want there to be a fourth where Rick is standing on a mountain of bodies, bathing in blood. :o

Rick was ruthless this week "S**t happens" #splitthatwig

I dig Daryl as his new second in command "Just give me a signal" although he could do with a melee weapon.

:lmao:

I thought he was harsh on her in the last ep, I mean yeah she was whiny last season and ungrateful...and she bonked his best friend....and is possibly carrying his best friends baby....and talked him into killing his best friend....but she's trying to be better.

Am I the only one that thinks they make it seem like stabbing through a skull is way too easy?? The eye sockets I get but getting through a skull like that is like stabbing through ****ing concrete. Killing walkers is just way too easy here. It would be WAAAAAYYY more difficult if this were reality

How many skulls have you chopped through in your life....Is there something we need to know?

But could be that zombies have softer skulls after awhile being all dead like.

You'd still have to prove it.

I'm pretty sure this person is never selling it. It was a hypothetical. Though I'm not sure Glen Mazzara signs a lot of things, so proving that would be crazy impossible.

Well, I've had close to a dozen head injuries/concussions since I was a kid and I've been in plenty fights over the years and I just know. Skulls are basically as hard as concrete. It's the closest thing in the natural world to compare them to. It's just a thought, I'm not really complaining about it. I do have the uncanny ability to suspend disbelief and just accept works of fiction for what they are. It's just something that's always irked me a bit cuz as I've said, they're as hard as ****ing concrete.

I just assumed when they're zombies they're slightly more mushy and not as solid as a normal human thus it's easier to smash into.

I don't know, sure the skull is tough but it can be cracked and smashed to bit by batons, bats, or the buck of a gun. It probably shouldn't be like slicing butter with the living but who is to say the blunt impact is not what kills some zombies and the object never really pierces through. (in some cases where we don't get an up close look at it)

That doesn't bother me as much as how hard it would be to remove a machete from a skull. Ever get an axe stuck in a tree? I don't imagine they have much time to sharpen their blades much. It takes a lot of force to get an axe back out. I imagine the same thing would happen as it is wedged in a skull. It just seems a little bit too easy to pull out, especially with the living.

But I can definitely live with that or any other minor issue.

You have to consider that these are rotting, decomposing corpses.... regardless of still moving.

Therefore, it isn't that unbelievable that you could stab through their heads that easily.

If you want to avoid spoilers for the Walking Dead TV show that is currently airing every week...maybe try and avoid the thread about the Walking Dead TV show that is airing every week.

Regarding the softness of skulls: Skulls don't really get softer after a person dies. Consider they can lay in the ground for thousands of years and still be fairly hard. Someone who's been dead/undead for a matter of months isn't going to have any softer bones than someone who's still alive.

That said, as POWdER-man mentioned, the human head is surprisingly susceptible to brain injury. A person can slip and bang their head and die from the injury. If that's a fall of say, less than 6ft (in most cases), I can absolutely believe a sharp knife thrust with deadly intent would pierce the brain.
