Really? I found it to be great from the start to finish from what i read, the prison is great, but some things drag a bit in my opinion, and i also liked when they reached those houses before heading to the farm, unfortunatelly the Show didn't use it :cmad:

I feel like everything in the comics moves at a very fast pace. They just hit you with event after event, death after death.

Its not much of a spoiler.
But Shane has become one of my favorite characters on the show. I'm glad they've kept him on this long.

As much as I do not like them killing him off because he is an interesting character, he was handled real well on the show.

I actually stopped reading it for awhile after that. It really messed my head up.

That's understandable, it's a huge turning point in the series and came out of no where. The internets where crazy that Wednesday.

it would really surprise me for AMC to allow everything that happens in the prison on tv, kudos to them if they do, but I can understand if they tone it down just a bit but still deliver a good story.

Robert Kirkman: David Morrissey 'Embraces' 'Walking Dead' Governor Role
Posted 3/1/12 3:36 pm EST by Josh Wigler in Image Comics, News, TV

"Walking Dead" fans, beware: the Governor has a name, and it's David Morrissey.

The British actor joins the cast of the AMC survival horror series' upcoming third season, putting a face to the most terrifying name that "The Walking Dead" has ever seen. Despite fan-lobbied actors John Hawkes and Tom Savini being passed over for the role, the Governor has found a home in Morrissey—and "Walking Dead" executive producer and comics creator Robert Kirkman couldn't be more excited.

"More than any other actor, David Morrissey came in and wanted to embrace everything that there is to the Governor," Kirkman told MTV News about Morrissey's casting. "He knew this is a complicated character, and he knew this was a character that people are going to hate to love."

"He recognized that this character is a villain," he continued. "A lot of people came in and were like, 'But he's a good guy inside, right?' They want that nuance, and that's definitely important. We definitely have that. The Governor isn't a one-note character; there are a lot of layers to that onion. But this is a sadistic guy. David Morrissey, more than any other actor, really wanted to sink his teeth into that role. He wants to embrace everything there is about the Governor."

And make no mistake, there is a lot of sadism to the character. In the comic books, the Governor commands and executes more horrible deeds than any other character on "Walking Dead" could even dream of. Kirkman promises things will be no different with the Governor's television counterpart.

"It was really important to me that no one gets the sense that we're neutering the Governor from the comics or holding anything back in any way," said Kirkman. "We're definitely going to do the character justice, and season three will be that much crazier and that much more intense because of it."

"I think he's really going to knock it out of the park," he added. "He has tremendous scale and scope to his acting abilities. I think people are going to be shocked and amazed by the things we do with the Governor in season three. I think people are going to quickly realize that David Morrissey is an awesome guy for the role."

Haven't used that or Tyrese. The latter being someone I'd love to see.

The houses were really just a bump in the road, the only purpose of which was to kill off Donna and turn Allen into a bit of a dick until he died. And given that neither of those characters are on the show, there's really no reason for it.

The f***ers at comic-book-movie(dot)com posted a link on facebook saying "spoiler from TWD, don't click if you don't want to know, bla bla", along with a picture of a certain character... you know.
Completely spoiler picture, not only I don't use facebook as I used to do, but I blocked them. Is not the first time they post a big spoiler without caring.
Oh yeah, I didn't know anything, now I do. ¬¬

That's what happens when you associate with a site like that. :o

I brought the same thing up on the last page. :csad:

I know, I didn't know it had bad reputation until now. I've learned my lesson.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't read it! I don't come here as often, too many spoilers. If you look at the article in facebook, the first comment cursing, its me LOL

After I saw there were spoilers I unsubscribed from the thread for the time being and avoided that site because they ruined Wolverine in First Class for me as well. I forgot I happened to like their page for a contest about 6 months ago. That bit me in the ass this morning.

They are usually fast when it comes to small news, but those things are unacceptable. I also deleted them from my pages.

I think it shouldhave been incorporate because it was a bump in the road, until now they just get from a safe place to another, that would show that there are a lot of places to go to in this apocaliptic world but that not all of them are safe

So who thinks T-Dog will die? And if so it be funny if its an offscreen death like he never shows up again but someone mentions he was killed. Be a perfect fit for his non useful character on the show.

T-Dog will be one of those guys that we see sleeping during episodes & he will ironically be sleeping in a place where no zombie can get to him. He would continue sleeping. He goes for food when the zombies decide to just leave him alone & there are no zombies around. Then he goes back to sleep

Screw you guys...T-Dog's winning the whole thing. :o

Agreed, I think you could have the houses as an interesting set piece though in between the jail and leaving Herschels house. Point less but fun.

I hope we get more casting news soon. I'm crossing my fingers for Michonne.

They could always use that setting for an two episodes after the prison.

I could see the rest of the series like this...

Season Three 2012-13, 16 episodes, 35 episodes total
The Walking Dead Vol. 3: Safety Behind Bars
The Walking Dead Vol. 4: The Heart's Desire
The Walking Dead Vol. 5: The Best Defense
The Walking Dead Vol. 6: This Sorrowful Life
The Walking Dead Vol. 7: The Calm Before
The Walking Dead Vol. 8: Made To Suffer

Season Four 2013-14, 16 episodes, 51 episodes total

The Walking Dead Vol. 9: Here We Remain
The Walking Dead Vol. 2: Miles Behind Us
The Walking Dead Vol. 10: What We Become
The Walking Dead Vol. 11: Fear the Hunters

Season Five 2014-15, 16 episodes, 67 episodes total
The Walking Dead Vol. 12: Life Among Them
The Walking Dead Vol. 13: Too Far Gone
The Walking Dead Vol. 14: No Way Out

Season Six 2015-16, 16 episodes, 83 episodes total
The Walking Dead Vol. 14: No Way Out
The Walking Dead Vol. 15: We Find Ourselves
The Walking Dead Vol. 16: A Larger World
The Walking Dead Vol. 17

FINAL SEASON, Season Seven 2016-17, 17 episodes, 100 episodes total
The Walking Dead Vol. 18
The Walking Dead Vol. 19
The Walking Dead Vol. 20

At that point AMC could try a spinoff.

You think this series will last long to 7 seasons? That be great if it do.
