either way... the facts are the same... Daryl would be the impacting intro Negan deserves... not Mario Glen who has 1up mushrooms laying everywhere.

Daryl hasn't really had an arc this season, there's been no hints or foreshadowing of his demise, and Norman has said he loves doing the show. I think Daryl dying would be random and pointless. It wouldn't affect the current story in the way a character like Glenn, Maggie or Carol dying would. They had the most growth this season, and imo, that puts them in the most danger.

really? after glenns fake death ******** you think that would be impacting? Norman also just started a new show and is getting a lot of other offers.

A 6-episode reality show that's already in the middle of shooting.

Started a new show? Which one? The motorcycle show that's already finished filming? The one that will have no impact what so ever when TWD begins to film again in the summer?

Again, this isn't the same situation as when Jon Bernthal signed onto Mob City. Mob City was on a rival network and filming was going to be around the same time as TWD. Reedus' situation is the same Sarah Paulson's OJ and American Horror Story shows. Both film at different parts of the year, both on the same network.

And what other offers is he getting a video game, where all he has to do is mo-cap and voice work?

I said he's dead after reading the article because look at his reaction vs the reactions of Lauren Cohen and Andrew Lincoln. He's happy Negan's coming on, looking forward to it. Why didn't he say he was sick to his stomach like the other two? It's a fake out, he's not going to say the same thing.

I was thinking Carol or Daryl for a long time and I am still pinning it on one of those two but lately I have leaned on Carol being the one to die.

Carol was not alive at this point in the comics although she has taken up a similar position to the now dead Andrea but as Sawyer's quote from Yuen stated, they aren't going to exactly follow the comics either so her death would be a huge impact.

Daryl is still among the most popular characters on the series and his death would be a major impact although potentially a huge blow to the ratings as well so killing him off would be dicey from that perspective.

I don't see them killing Glenn as they ruined the shock of his death by almost doing it twice already. A third near-death that actually proves fatal is less impactful with the guy who keeps dodging close zombie bites over and over because of sheer luck. Eventually you know he's going to get it.

Killing off Maggie would be one hell of a move because she's pregnant and killing a pregnant woman is almost as unpopular as killing a baby. Killing her on screen in such a brutal manner is probably too much for even TWD to do.

They might kill off Abraham but the reactions from the cast suggest someone who has been around a lot longer than he has. So that leans towards one of the L's, Carol or Daryl. And Daryl is bringing in the fangirls (and boys) to the ratings. Rumors persist a second person is going to die as well which might be Abraham but it won't be at the hands of Lucille.

About Daryl, if what I read was true

Do not read unless you want to get spoiled
Last Warning.
At the end of episode 15, it looks like Dwight shoots him, then episode 16, it turns out it was someone else got shot. They're not going to do a fake out death for him, only to turn around and kill him in the same episode. At least with Glenn's fake death's they were spread out with the one that really got people was at the beginning of season 6A.

So far these spoilers have been true or really close.

^ I considered...
There'd be more than one death. Spotlight is on Lucille, but others could die.

Hrm. I could see finishing in a couple months. Plenty of time to return to TWD. Don't fret yet.

Don't you mean weeks? TWD always films it's first half from May-August.

People always assume that whenever one of the actors films a movie it means their character is going to die. The Walking Dead films for about five or six months. They're allowed to work the other half of the year too.

Well, one thing is for sure....

...people better have their cameras rolling for the youtube reaction videos :D

IF Daryl gets Lucille'd, it's definitely not going to be because of some reality show he's doing.

It should be because its the only way to match the comics.

If it is Glen, they will probably put his eye back in his head and he will find a way to slip out of it.

I didn't take his reality show that way. To me it seemed he signed onto another contract because his might be up for TWD. Course that show seems so limited. He could easily film all of it and catch probably all the episodes before going back to work for TWD. I say it's possibly nothing, but wouldn't be surprised if it's Daryl.

Merle Rooker is credited to play Merle Dixon in the season 6 finale, at least on IMDB. What do you guys think, is Daryl a goner?

EDIT.

Also, looks like Beth is returning for the finale.

Sounds more like Daryl is going to have another dream/hallucination like in season 2.

Yes, but will it be like Tyree's hallucinatory death? I think the fact that Merle and Beth are coming back for a quick shoot is pretty telling.

If it was just Rooker, I'd think it was bc Negan is supposed to have some kind of a connection to the Dixons, but I'm not sure now.
