Norman Reedus is on the Talking Dead finale...

everybody panic!!!

Well he also appeared on the talking dead season 3 & 5 finale. I doubt that it means Daryl's meeting his end.

Looks less and less likely for Daryl to meet Lucille.

If they announce he's on The Talking Dead, I doubt it will be because his character died.

Also, I now think the show is ready to play up a rival between Daryl and Dwight to carry onto season 7.

everybody panic!!!

It was a joke.

Wouldn't that be the perfect way to do it, though? Everyone's spider-sense goes off when they hear there will be a "surprise guest". Wouldn't it be the biggest shock to just tell you upfront that that particular actor will be there, to lull the fans into a false sense of security, and then...?

I think that would be awesome, if you ask me!

I'm not getting my hopes up, though. Haha.

That Merle/Beth cameo reported to be in the finale pretty much confirms Daryl will be meeting Lucille. :( I still think Maggie getting it would be more devestating and shocking.

There are also rumors flying around about Glenn meeting Lucille, and Carol and Morgan basically killing each other.

The rumors are all over the place right now, so I'm taking everything found on the internet with a grain of salt.

there's also a rumor going around that Negan is permawhite

The cast is really talking up how dark and brutal the finale is.

First Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan, now Melissa McBride. I almost wonder if they're being encouraged to talk it up like the darkest **** ever to generate buzz and get everybody tuning in.

It also makes me hope the episode lives up to expectations and does justice to Negan's entrance in the comics. At this point, Negan has been built up so much (the entire second half of the season) while being kept completely offscreen until the big finale, that they've generated a lot of hype for Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the episode itself to live up to.

Also, this tidbit from the article caught my attention:

According to TV Guide, Negan's appearance will involve
"horrible deaths" of few characters.

Plural?

I hope this is the biggest season finale yet for the show. I feel like the finales for seasons 4 and 5 were talked up a lot but not much happened in either.

Folks - don't post that leaked footage from the finale. I know it's been online forever, but you can't post it here.

I can def see Lucille taking out a few people in the finale.

That usually means he's safe.

It's the "surprise cast member" they announce the week before who's usually the one that gets killed.

I know they've mixed it up a few times in the past when the dead person was the announced guest. But don't remember who specifically. So it's a toss-up either way.

2 more episodes guys

Just some fun speculation that could be spoilery ...

If two people are getting Lucille'd, then I'm going to say that one of them will be Abe.

Not gonna lie, it would be brutally cruel (and awesome) if the audience saw Abe die, and then thought, "Phew, that sucks, but at least it's not ... Wait ... NO, GLENN/DARYL!"

Rick and his crew have killed far more Saviors in the show than they did in the comics. Would Negan let them off with just one death? Hmm ...

I'm so excited for Negan, I can't deal. I've never been this excited for a Walking Dead season finale before.

This is a pretty popular/unoriginal opinion, but yeah ... Negan is one of my favorites in the comics. And JDM is a perfect casting choice. I can't wait to see him!

Most of my close friends have not read the comics, so they have absolutely no idea what to expect, and I'm just sitting here like Mr. Burns. Now I know how Game of Thrones fans felt before the Red Wedding episode aired.

Do you guys think Negan will appear at all in next week's episode? Like at the very, very end?

I'm with you. I read the comic as well and Negan is definitely one of my favorites. And like you I think JDM is amazing and gonna nail this role so I am beyond excited for Negan to show up and for this finale. Let Lucille do her thing :cwink:

I think it's gonna be multiple deaths. 2-3 people possibly.

Kinda wish Dwight was missing an eyelid, but I could understand if this show doesn't have the money/time to CG the goddamn thing off in every frame the guy is in.

I wish Alicia Witte had played Lucille. Paula was every bit as intimidating as I've built Lucille up to be in my mind.
