I guess I can't link here, but the last 11 minutes of the episode leaked in audio form. Negan is the most clear voice but you can her others. That said, given how it sounds, it seems like the cliffhanger ending is confirmed. I mean, without visuals, you can't really say for sure, but it seems to end off pretty much without resolution. I'm hoping AMC held the true ending from press screeners, etc., but I'm not confident. If so, AMC is really going to tick some people off, including me.

I'd be pissed too, and it wouldn't just be us. I think it would piss off a lot of the fanbase. All this build up to Negan. And then you do that?

Well god damn. That does sound super brutal and Negan sounds perfect, even the dialogue minus the F bombs obviously (which I'm still betting we hear on a blu ray/DVD version) No doubt JDM will be great. The comic character come to life. No doubt he does kill someone obviously. And it sounds a bit to me like that end part there was from that victims POV. I really hope they don't make it unknown though who it is and we have to wait until October, like seriously. Would be pretty ****ing annoying and dumb to do that to everyone.

Lots of people on the Spoiling Dead Fans forums are saying

They swear you can hear a muffled "M-Magg" right before Negan says "Takin' it like a champ!". Others also said in the screaming they can swear they hear "Glenn".

Ran it back myself, and I sort of get the "M-Mag" thing, but it's so muffled, plus sometimes you hear things when you have an idea, even if it isn't correct. Still can't make out a "Glenn" though.

If I had to guess

I'd guess since everyone is on their knees, we'll see him walking around and see the tops of heads as the camera focuses on him. Then when he picks, maybe he turns and then we get the POV, which would be an upward shot looking at him. Just a guess but the only way I could see them keeping the mystery.

At least at some point before he introduces Lucille, he gets close to Carl because he mentions that gun Carl has. So maybe we'll be able to work it out.

Probably, but can't be sure. At least at this meeting we've got most of the big names, so it's going to be one of the main group regardless. I keep hoping someone can clear up and find some other bit hidden in that leaked audio, but it's probably just blind hope at this point.

Oh wow Negan sounds perfect. Even though his potty mouth is toned down, Morgan just has the attitude, the smugness, and the dark wit down to perfection.

I was visualizing the comic scene in my head when he was saying things like "Pissing our pants yet? Ooooh boy it's going to be pee pee pants city here real soon", and "This is Lucille. And she...is...AWESOME".

The ending. I mean we hear someone getting bludgeoned to death. The screams of the others watching. They better show who gets picked. They just better!

People were saying the same thing as you guys, but also there's a really muffled thing right before Negan says "Takin' it like a champ!". Lots of people saying it sounds like "M-Mag" which is what Glenn sputters with his head caved in in the comics. I admit, I kind of hear it on a re-listen, but it's hard to say.

EDIT: Hm, people have pointed out the episode seems to have changed from 90 minutes to 93 minutes...maybe they're slightly extending it to include the actual ending, and held it off from early screener?

Some people have also speculated it's Carl saying "dad", but I just don't hear it. I just hope we find out for sure by the end.

At first I thought the whole "POV" thing was a cop out until I listened to the audio. Those sound effects are freaking gruesome. Way to play around the censors, AMC.

I'm really, really hoping we don't get a cliffhanger. I've been lurking on the Spoil the Dead forums, and I keep seeing a lot of complaining about this entire season. Personally, Season 6 has been my favorite ... But it would be a shame to end it on such a weak note/cliffhanger!
