Whatever's happening with Carl, I'm glad they didn't kill of Herschel last night. I think if anyone's going to try to restore some sense of humanity, it's going to have to be him.

I think Carl did what he had to last night, but I was glad Herschel immediately went to Rick over it, and that he was adamant about what Carl had done. They need that.

Definitely agree. Hershel is the new Dale, except people listen to him, and Carl is the new Shane, except Rick can spank him lol.

I'm glad the cast has fun together. That makes the end product that much better!

Hahaha, Rick probably should at this point.

The transformation of Herschel over the series has been great. I loved the way his whole character changed after the barn massacre, the way finally understood it all and was furious with himself for not seeing it in the first place. And even though he's changed, he's kept that whole sense of decency about him.

He looked like he aged 20 years in the beginning of last week's episode, when he thought they were going to give up Michonne. Then they didn't do, and Glenn asked to marry Maggie, and it was like got those years back again, like faith rewarded.

You even see it with Beth, as far as Carl is concerned. When Lori reamed him for going off alone to find the infirmary, Carl yelled back at her and Beth told him not to speak to his mother like that. As wrong as Lori had been on that, there was still someone there to remind him that he needs to watch his mouth. Just because the world ended doesn't mean there aren't rules anymore.

And Carl needs to be reminded of that, or he loses everything. He needs to set that example for that sister of his, if he wants to protect her.

I was disappointed with the finale, I didn't like Carl's attitude and treatment with Rick.Made me hate him all over again. I wanted Milton to turn the tables someway and somehow on the Governor and not go out this season. The death of Andrea, I wanted her to make at least one or two more seasons. All of it didn't make me get excited for season 4.
