it makes perfect sense TBH... glad they have Tyrese and Rick fighting

I think Tyreese is the kind of guy who would get upset over any of the Woodbury people (mostly made up of women and children) getting murdered.

Does anyone else think that they made it super obvious that Sasha dies, and that's why Tyrese goes nuts..?
I wasn't a big fan of what we've seen of Sasha, she has no personality, so I hope she goes sooner rather than later.

the Sharon Van Etten - Serpents song was the highlight for me.

Looks like someone whittled themselves a new foot? Don't see a crutch.

Doesn't have me quite as amped up as the S3 trailer, but still looks great.

Out of all the trailers it is the weakest. This is three steps back. Doesn't look bad but there isn't anything compelling me to watch after how they've mishandled each season of the series. This is the fourth season and they need to one up themselves, not really seeing it.

The season finale was a disappointment that didn't have me anticipating a new season like the previous mid and season finales did. This show is bringing AMC serious cash and they need to leave the prison, quit trying to squeeze all the money out of that set. Hopefully they wrap things up with The Governor by November and move forward in 2014.

There was so much in the trailer it was hard to really get a grip on the direction of the season as it jumped about a lot. I'm guessing The Governor is the one sabotaging the prison and it's interesting to see Carol step more onto the frontline.

You can tell Norman Reedus has watched plenty of US horror, driving around with three black characters, now that's job security! :oldrazz:

I wasn't thinking about it in terms of horror tropes, but I did think it was funny that the guy who started off the series as a racist ***hole is now driving around with a car full of black folks.

And Carl has gotten tall. Our little psychopath is growing up so fast!

According to the EW article, Chandler Riggs turned 14 on June 27 (same birthday as me!), which meant he was finally able to handle a real gun on set. He'd been using rubber prop guns on the show up until this point.

So they had a countdown on his birthday, and when midnight came, Andrew Lincoln bowed down to him and gave him an M16 to use in his next scene. :funny:

Cut to: Carl shooting Rick in the face with it.

Smart move, Rick. :o

I feel like this season is going to be the best yet. Anyone else feel that way?

Although, you never know... lol

Yeah, I thought it may have peaked with season 3 but it doesn't look like it after seeing that trailer.

The "sanctuary" makes me worry they're gonna run into Governor as the leader of a new community.

Same. I still think it's going to lead to a scenario where a certain amount of characters venture out on their own, encounter part of that community going out on a run, get brought back to meet that group's leader, and then at the very end of the episode.... "Well well well... fancy running into you folks again." The Governor grins. End of episode, beginning of traumatic **** for our guys.

The trailer didn't clearly allude to The Governor at all. I'm thinking the show's gonna ignore his continuing existence for a while, almost until we forget he's out there, and then BAM.

Yeah. I mean, trailers can always be misleading (last season's SDCC trailer making it seem as though Rick/Governor faced off early on), but I'd be kind of surprised if he factored into the first few episodes.

Trailer looks like more of the same and to keep ratings that may work. They do need to have a good season here though.

Because that's not the case for every show?

I agree. I was confused and stoked all at the same time.

Oh, and Daryl is an honorary brotha now. I think he must be tapping one of the sistas. Wish it was me. :D

who all reads the comics?

I've been reading the GN's. I stopped after
Carl got his accident
I'll pick it up again. I had stopped once before when everything went down at the prison. I stopped for an entire year, my head was really messed from the carnage. Especially
Lori and Judy.
:(

Carol is teaching kids how to protect and defend themselves and 1 of them grab the knife from her hand with a smile while they're standing by the fence,so that's Sophia's replacement, interesting how that will translate with Carl

I read (EW article, again) that that's exactly what they're planning to do with him. They won't say at all when he'll be back.

You know what I mean, this is the fourth season. Don't want a fourth season resembling Losts or BSG's. They need this season to be strong, I just think that even though people like this show, the same ol' song and dance will tire people eventually.
