Let's just bring back Shane while we're at it.I don't get it,these are the people who doesn't want the series to end with Rick waking up in the hospital where we see it was all a bad dream, but they want this kinda writing to bring Beth back alive.

She's dead, deal with it.You people are gonna go through the five stages:
1.Denial
2.Anger
3.Bargaining
4.Depression
5.Acceptance

I'm not up in arms about it but I don't get the point of the Beth death either.

I wonder if its because how stupid of a death it was that people are ticked off about & not that it actually happened. But keep her dead or they should bring back every other main character that has died as well

Ugh. They didn't about Beth until she was paired with Daryl in 4B. Emily Kinney was the weakest actor on the show, so no big loss for me.

I remember Scott Gimple saying something about 4B being about the kids teaching the adults or something along those lines. Makes sense since Rick & Michone have Carl. Carol & Ty had the girls. And Daryl had Beth (Sophia 2.0), who was supposed to be 17 I believe. Beth was a kid compared to Daryl, but Emily Kinney is almost 30 in real life so it kinda messed everything up and the crazy "shippers" didn't get it.

I think Chandler Riggs is by far the weakest actor on the show. Kinney was decent. Her character wasn't anything special like Daryl or Carol but she was starting to get a little more interesting. The way the character was killed off was pretty nonsensical, did they not have a better less stupid way of doing it?

I think most people are all up in arms about Beth because her death made a half-assed story arc pointless. The season started off SO strongly with Terminus, but then the Termites were killed off in 3 episodes in order to answer the hyped up question, "Where is Beth?"

There are so many unanswered questions about this hospital arc. Who the heck was actually in charge? Dawn? If so, then why was she forced to answer to others? Did they provide the house with food in season 4B to lure Daryl and Beth? Why do they hit people with cars and waste any of their medical equipment in the first place? Why do some of the cops go out of the sanctuary and risk their lives like that (especially if it's all about "the greater good" as Dawn and Hot Fuzz stated and about repopulation)? And most importantly, why did the show hype up and promise a "new" Beth Green when she died because of a stupid and rash decision that could have very well ended in a big shootout? In hindsight, it wasn't Dawn's fault. Beth's death was actually Beth's fault.

This story arc was dumb. And with Beth's death, it definitely became a waste of time because none of the unanswered questions will be answered.

They should have just tied her kidnapping with Terminus somehow, and the group discovers that she's dead and that she's become food. Would have been a chilling reveal to say the least about the Termites. I would have been completely happy with season 5A's focus being all on Terminus/the Hunters.

I finished re-watching season 3 today, This Sorrowful Life is truly a great episode.

Beth's death was so dumb that it eliminated any emotinal impact. It wasn't Dawn's fault. Beth committed suicide by cop.

I love that episode. I met Michael Rooker at Walker Stalker in NJ this weekend. He signed my Season 1 blu-ray and when I told him I missed Merle, he gave me a hug.

And speaking of Emily Kinney, her autograph line at Walker Stalker this weekend was insane. They had to cancel her panel because there were so many people waiting on line at her both to meet her. I’m willing to bet it wouldn’t have been that crazy if she hadn’t had two Daryl episodes last season and they hadn’t just killed her off.

Oh, I see now. Couldn't tell what that was. Thought it was the top of a McDonald's french fries at first. :o

From Vulture:
Blockbuster That Couldn’t (TV): The Walking Dead
It's the most popular show on TV, but the (admittedly terrific) zombie action sequences are just there to distract us from the fact that the show does not move forward in any meaningful way. Find a place to hunker down; inevitably engage in bloody combat with people who were already there; mourn death of secondary character for five minutes and then head back out to the road. C'mon, Walking Dead. Surprise us.

I agree with this

Cry me a f***ing river, Vulture. That's the comic book too. :o

Doesn't move forward? They covered the Hunters, Bethnappers, and DC cure in half a season. The most stories this show has ever done in that amount of time!
