Page not found, Wolv. :(

What does BH's human form look like? Or does he even have a human form?

In the comics that ive read i never seen him change into a normal human...but i havent read all of the comics where he appeared so i cant say for sure.
Even if they give BH the power to shape change wouldnt be a big deal as its a typical requirement for devils/demons in horror films. they need to pass as human in order to not attract attention to themselves.

I hope they have him look like the pics because that would make Ghost Rider the way it should be.

I hope they don't kill him with bad CGI. :(

That's always a fear... but I have faith in the industry these days. I'm able to suspend disbelief a little easier than most though.

Just some gifs i found (from the fighting game Marvel Super Heroes by Capcom). Damn if only Ghost could have been "capcomized" too he would have ruled.

Actually in some later game("marvel vs streetfighter" i think) they used the same sprite of Blackheart in red alternate palette to represent the secret character Mephisto (since in the comics apart from color and general muscular tone difference only Meph had the beak over Blacky's absence of mouth).
Here http://www.midianweb.it/gif/marvel/marvel_index.htm you cand find the remaining BH gifs and all marvel character revisited by capcom, but Ghost wasn't so lucky. There was a rumour about a fighting game with all 2099 characters but the project stopped.

There is a new fighting game being developed by EA which will have Marvel SuperHeroes. dont know if it will have Ghost Rider but w/ the movie coming out there might be a chance.
at least we know for sure there will be a game based on the movie.

Those are awesome, InVictus. I hope he really looks like that in the movie. :D:up:

Those are indeed awesome. Thanks for postin' them InVictus.

I agree Dog Lips; Blackheart should definatly look something like that at some point in the movie. It doesn't have to be during the entire flick, but for the fight w/ Ghost Rider at the very least, he has to.

You know, this makes me wonder of what Blackheart cgi/makeup would be better. There's a recent japanese movie named "Devilman" (based upon the manga Mao Dante by master Go Nagai) about a man transforming in a demon that, despite the excellent CGI, has too much strong differences between the live actor(even with quite good prosthetics in a "intermediate" form) and the cgi actual demon (an issue determined also by the scene mounting).
I fear a similar effect about Blackheart , if they decide to make the real demon form totally cgi. Maybe just some slight modification (a tail, a menacing, growing shadow with spikes, hair moulting sometimes with spikes, Wes with Blackheart's face only when in shadow), just some hinting elements during the film would be: first, more in line with the character; second, making continuity actor/cgi; third, that would keep the real BH form for the finale (quite like...omg maybe it's unlucky said that...Spawn o_o; ).
Anyway i think BH cgi would be very effective if played in the "living shadow" theme...

I'm more for it being live action/makeup rather than totally CGI. Like Underworld for example. Most of the werewolf stuff was live action using some kickass makeup and prosthetics. LOTR might be a better example.... or HellBoy for that matter.

Although I do like the way CGI is going and I truly believe everything I see, I just like the weight of something actually tangable, ya know?

Hello GR folks...

I'm new here. Oh so new. And boards are not my thing. But I'm obsessively curious as to how they will manage to portray Blackheart. I've read through as much as I can... has anyone to date caught a glimpse of Bentley during takes or any whatnot?

Much appreciated!

As far as i can remember someone spotted him in his stage caravan eating, but yet no one has clearly spotted him in action...maybe he was in the cemetery scene, but ours insiders where too distant.

Yeah I did. I was quite far away but I am pretty sure it was him, not 100% certain though. He was wearing just a trench coat with short hair. There's this other person next to him who had very big long dreadlocks. There were filming at treasury gardens.

from what i've heard from onlookers, the other person (you wrote of) with the dreadlocks, is peter fonda.
giddy up!

Hmmm... that seems strange. I would think that the long dreads would be Blackheart... and that would make me happy because that would mean they are making him at least similar to his comic form.

There were reports of a evil man in white w/ white hair that makes sense to me as being Fonda. We'll see though.

We've literally have heard NOTHING about this guy. Most everybody has been mentioned in one way or another except him... and he's the one I'm now most anxious to hear some news about.

Humm, Mephisto does have some kind of dreadlock when in beaky mode...

Yes, yes he does.... but I'm not really sure what you're getting at.

So, we got to see some of his work. He seems okay so far (though I'm not completly blown away by the few tidbits we've seen) but I really hope we see his true form. I really do.
