I'm not sure what I pad for mine, I didn't think it was that much. $15? I'm not sure.

* In the sceme of things, $15 can be a deal when it comes to key comics*

Wow, I just checked Wizard and they said in mint condition it's valued around $42. I doubt I paid that much. I wonder if I got it from Mile High during a half price sale...you should totally check on line. You might get a better deal than at a store.

I have Wolverine #1 wonder how much that is. I actually have two but I'm giving my Brother one for Christmas.

Wizard says $45. It would be a nice gift for a serious collector and very thoughtful.

I've had them both since 2000 and he's always wanted one but couldn't find it. So I don't know what I was thinking I should've given it to him a long time ago. Just being selfish I guess. It was my plan to buy and horde all the Wolverine #1's.:wolverine :D

My sister was nice enough to give me one. Granted at the time, it as new and not worth as much as it is now, but I am grateful she did. :)

That's cool. I have the first issue of the old Miller mini series but I never got the rest of it. I will just get the tpb of it. I just liked the cover and at the time I thought it was the one from the ongoing series then I found out otherwise. Still a cool pic though, I love how he's gesturing for you to come closer with his finger.

That was a good little mini and there is a TPB of it, I have that as well. I found it for a buck and just couldn't let it pass me by even though I had the originals already.

I reread the first two issues of Origin last night. I forgot Thomas Logan blew Jame's Pa's head off, well from the shadow it looked like from the upper lip and up. Yowza!

I've gotta' read more tonight, I read it so fast the first time I don't remember much of it. Certain parts stand out in my mind. The first time I read it, I didn't like it. I didn't want to know his past, I didn't like the way it was done, I thought more would've come of it. I though Origin meant everything, from being a kid all the way up to Weapon X, I thought that's how it was gonna' end when I first heard of it.

I like it more now. I couldn't stop reading it last night, I finished the first and picked up the second. Which I don't always do, I usually stop for a minute and have a cigarette. I would've finished the whole thing but, I had some stuff to do.

Another comic I need to reread is the X-men movie prequel for Wolverine.

I haven't read the X-men 2 Prequels yet, gotta' do it soon. I have the X-2 movie adaption that comes with the two prequels.

As for the Wolvie prequel I have the original and the variant cover that's just a sketch, it's really cool.

I enjoyed Origins, my only complaint is that they left as many questions as they did answers. It was never explicitly said if Elizabeth was Thomas Logan's lover or sister, there were hints it could be either. Later in Wolverine The End they finally spelled it out that she was his lover. They never idenitified exactly who Dog is, I was thinking Saby, others have said Cyber. It seems to me that their bringing him up means he must be somebody besides a bitter half brother from long ago. It left me hungry but I suppose that's how they get us to buy more stuff later on. :D

I have the Wolverine prequels from X1 and X2 but it's been a while since I read them. I thought both movie adpations were lame because by their nature, they don't reveal enough. You just can't break down a whole movie into 32 pages. :D

Movie adaptions are never good. I just had to get them. The prequels for the first movie were decent from what I remember, I really liked the Magneto one.

I didn't read the End 'cause I heard it had nothing to do with continuity and that future isn't a real possibility just a What if type thing. Origin did leave questions, I think of Wolvie's Mom more of Thomas' lover than a sister, there's more of a sense of that to me. Oh, well. But I agree that's how they getya'.

I reread issues 3 and 4 of Origin last night. I forgot James' Mother had whip marks on her when Rose came in the room.

If she was with Thomas she was stupid to have that kind of abuse from Thomas.

James/Logan was so timid, so weird to see him that way.

I dont think those were "whip" marks. I believe they were wounds from Wolverines older brother who apparently had the same mutation as Logan. He sliced momma. Thats why she was so insane when she saw that James (Wolvie) had the same claws.

Oh, duh, that's right she did say something like "Not you too". I can't believe I didn't get that. I thought it looked more like claw marks. I think just 'cause I was so into everything else going on I just didn't think further into that. I can't believe I didn't get that.

Another fine Wolverine moment, courtesy of Wolverine#93 and Kubert.

I love this pic, I've seen it before, alot. Kubert is my fave Wolverine/X-men artist, handsdown, I don't care what anyone says.

I love his artwork.

Last night I finished Origin, ya'know, I don't think I read #6 way back when. I don't think Dog is Sabretooth because Dog still had his scars on his face but by that time if it was Creed they would've healed. I'm sure his mutancy would've kicked in by that point.

I should go to the comic shop and look for #93.

I'm not so sure. Thye never said how old Dog is, and also stress is a trigger, he just might not have popped just yet. But who knows? It still makes the most sense to me, but that doesn't mean I'm right. :)

It would be okay if it was him but I don't buy it. He was old enough for his mutancy to have developed it usually does at 12 or so. Not that they are all the same but still. Also even if his wounds healed before becoming a mutant wouldn't his scars stay then 'cause that happened before his healing factor kicked in and so it was before his healing could heal those old cuts or can it heal old scars too from before the factor starts?

Oh well. It wa so sad how Rose died and that fat scumbag cookie threw her diary in the fireplace. Rose's death was predictable though.

Rose's death was neccessary to explain Logan's redhead fixation, I figured that was coming, too. I had expected Dog to do it though, not Logan. It was sad. :(

Sad, but predictable still good though, I'm not downing it.

I wonder if they'll have more about Sabretooth in the Wolverine movie. They better.

I can't wait for the next issue of Wolvie. This is gettin good that's all I know.

Wolverine had some REAL good issues, back in the late 80`s to early 90`s.Im going to buy a few TPB`s.

I don't think you can have a Wolverine movie without Saby in it. It just wouldn't be proper. :D
