Comics The Wolverine thread

all that was explained in the Wolverine The End book. The White Ghost is his brother John.
The Winter Soldier is someone else. Fury knows who he is, Shield has a file on him.

Isn't the Winter Soldier Bucky? I thought I read that somewhere....
 
in the last Wolverine issue, he calls up Cap looking for his old "pal" and side kick, Bucky. Don't know if HE is the Winter Soldier or not, but they are leading that direction. Been checking out Cap America and found out a few things, but it sounds like this is another crossover between Cap & Wolverine, as both comics are looking for the Winter Soldier. Supposedly, the identity of this Winter Soldier will rock Cap's world. It seems to me, this guy had something to do with Logan's escape from the X program. May have even had knowledge of why/ how he got there. One of the descriptions I read at Marvel.com said something about Wolverine & the Winter Soldier having to find common ground in Russia??? So maybe, Logan has to "join forces" with this guy to bust the chops of those responsible.

What I want to know is who were the samarii looking guys and who is the "master" talking? He says "if he is mind is still whole, he will find me" ??? What gives here?

That picture is from New X-men (now Abjectiveless), the Here comes Tomorrow story arc drawn by Marc Silvestri. That pic is from issue 154. :up:
 
I can't wait for the Origins series to come out. Does anyone know if this will be just a mini series? They called it a sister book to the Wolverine book, so I wonder but, by the title it sounds like it'll just deal with his origin and even though there's alot there to deal with I don't see it lasting too long unless after a bit they give it a new title and keep it going and go into different story lines.

This new story has me on the edge of my seat. can't wait to see if Bucky is the Winter soldier. I still don't like Bucky coming back, it's also funny that he and Jason Todd came back around the same time.

It's gonna be Wolverine's second ongoing series. Should be a hoot

This was something that took place in the future, yes, and of course she croaks again in that too. Poor Jean. :)
 
i must say considering logan is already at least a hundred he looks pretty good for 250 lol

That's what I heard but, it sounds like a mini series by the title, to me.

It's going to deal with his past and there is alot to deal with but if it goes into other territory the name should change.

When does Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk come out? I'll have to check. That's one thing I'm starting to get antsy about.
 
Ult Hulk/Wolverine is bi-monthly. I think they only just solicited the number 3.

Origins could turn out to be a long mini depending on sales. A lot of the recent books have only gotten to 12 before they were gone -- Gambit, Rogue, and Nightcrawler for example.

I wish Silvestri would pencil one of the ongoing X-Men comics again. But he's one of the big muckety-mucks over at Image now isn't he? Probably isn't allowed...or doesn't have time. Who knows.
