OK, now we know what the extended ninja fight looks like.

The book has the stunt crew pre-viz video, not the actual scene....but, damn.

I can see why it put the PG-13 at risk now. And it's awesome.

That happened with the Les Mis iBook too. So stupid! I just got a new iPad, so I can finally see that book now too.

It's a really cool book, too. Lots of photos and behind-the-scenes stuff I hadn't seen before (which looks like its meant for the blu-ray, if that's any consolation).

It's got storyboards, production photos, and videos through the scene with the bear, the bar fight, the funeral fight/chase, the bullet train, the surgery scene and Shingen fight, the ninja fight, and the finale with the Silver Samurai. Really cool stuff. Then when you get to the last page the DOFP feature pops up.

Also noticed that in one of the videos from when they shot the funeral scene, Logan's hands are bloody from his claws during the scene where he's getting pummeled. Never noticed that in the movie. Wonder if they'll put that back in.

I don't have iPad, so you could share to us what you have seen in that clip??

We see a clip of Bryan directing Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen in the cockpit of the X-Jet. And then he's sitting at Xavier's desk introducing himself and starting the tour, revealing that it's the 1970s version of Xavier's office.

He goes out to the main staircase (and points out how it looks like a big "X"), mainly explaining how everyone is joining up for this film. Then he goes to the Cerebro set and says they're shooting a scene with Hugh, Nick Hoult, and James McAvoy there that day. We see Nick, who says hi, and Hugh, who's on his phone, but he walks over and gives a wave.

We do see a quick clip of them shooting a scene where Logan is lying on that platform and Kitty was standing over him. They were between takes, so no dialogue or anything. Bryan also walks through those temple ruins we saw in the trailer.

It's about 3-5 minutes, no major plot details, not even anything from the trailer. Nothing major, but a neat quick peek from the set.

So he opens it, and it's his suit! Mask and all. (and yes, it's that same one we saw in that photo that was floating around a few weeks ago). So he gives her another look, and she puts on a big smile and says the "Interesting!" line. And the scene fades out with the same two-shot, but now with them checking out the suit.

I kinda wish they'd left that in.

As if I wasnt pumped enough for the release of the extended version I now simply cant wait to see that scene, even if it was removed.

Maybe they thought it didnt work or want to save something like that for DOFP, be interesting to know why. But the fact it exists is awesome. Maybe it is in the extended version???

So many questions again for this film!!!!

I'm sure the ending is unchanged in the extended, it'll be a separate feature. I do want to see him don the costume though, even if he looks dumb lol

There's also a pre-viz video that shows Logan fighting the bear before he had to kill it. It looks like he caught Yukio watching him fighting the as well. When he turned back, she was gone again.

No idea if any of that is part of the extended cut, but it's interesting stuff. Still reading through the book.

OMG why....why was that not left in?? I hope it's the ending for the extended cut. Just because, c'mon. That is epic. It doesn't even need to mean we'll see him wear it, just that in the two years he and Yukio did stuff, he did wear it. Aw.

P.S. I almost wish I didnt read the spoilers, that would have been completely shocking.

Well, the blu-ray has the alternate ending listed as an extra feature, so I'm thinking it's separate from the extended cut.

But I can't think why it would have been cut. It's great! Even Logan has an "Oh hell yes!" look on his face when he sees it.

I'm even more psyched for the ninja fight now. If that pre-viz video is any indication, it is nasty!

You know, Man of Steel has been my most anticipated blu ray for a long time now, but I think this may trump that. With extras like this i dont mind shelling out 30 bucks.
