I could deal with it if she was swimming. Not sure a beauty pageant would fit in.
Really hope we see the invisible Jet as I'm dying to see a big budget Hollywood rendition on the big screen.
I think it would be funny if she pulled off the skirt, swam for something important to the plot (Aquaman maybe?), THEN pulled them back on.
But only as long as the swimshorts are like this![]()
Why has nobody mentioned her costume from the animated movie universe. A costume that actually does a good job of not throwing her body in your face like LOOK AT THESE JUGGS without covering her up head to toe in battle armor or anything. I think its the best of both worlds.

That wouldn't bother me. The swimsuit costume would be appropriate for...swimming.
Here's a question, if Wonder Woman is a goddess, why does she need armor?
^ Ugh. I liked how Black Widow was written in Avengers, but stuff like that is just throwing her under the bus.
The JL War costume is a tad odd. Why cover her arms but not her upper thighs?

It's like the costume designers counted how low they could get while barely revealing cleavage. It's a total 'tease' outfit.
But yeah, with TWS, Scarjo is the only one with the face turned up, deverting attention away from it![]()
Would people be happy with an update of the classic "swimsuit" costume that covered this much skin:

Personally, I think I would be. But, it would really depend upon the overall design and the material used since I don't think standard cotton/lycra would really give Wonder Woman the other-wordly vibe that she deserves.
But, the shorts are a semi-decent length and if Gal Gadot can add some bulk and definition to her biceps, then I'm not opposed to her showing them off. I think it does help that there is no cleavage on show. A neckline similar to that in the animated JL: War could work well with a costume similar to this.
Just as long as some man got shirtless and maybe pantless (Superman changing would be a funny gag) to be fairt:
I agree. I thought The Avengers poster created a decent amount of online discussion about the sexualised "pose" favoured for Black Widow. And I thought the extent of that discussion was sufficient that it would have come to Marvel's attention. But, that posted for Captain America 2 is even worse than The Avengers poster!
Idk the real reason is more than likely just for looks and the justification is probably something like why do boxers and kick boxers wear gear on their arms and hands but not on their upper thigh. Those areas just see more action.
I'm a male and I still find her pose on this poster to be ridiculous looking.

Cap and Fury are walking determined towards the audience and Black Widow's... doing what appears to be a sexy dance.
Oh goodness. It looks even dumber compared to the other characters. Seriously...who designs this stuff? They need a strongly worded memo. I wonder what Johansson thinks of this.
Honestly. I could see that poster being a template for BvS
Fury as Batman
Rogers as Superman
Widow as Wonder Woman
Redford as Luthor
Winter Soldier as Metallo
f**k Yes! This design screams Warrior Princess!Just reposting this beauty.

You mean with Superman in red briefs, batman in black briefs, and wondy in spangely briefs? It could be a funny gag, but it could also get into Michael Bay territory and turn them into the Sexy Trinity.
I was thinking having just a quick scene of a superhero putting on a costume. Like Superman/Batman. I think Batman would be funny because audiences would take him seriously.
It's highly disappointing to see a well-written character and great actress treated that way. I thought Marvel would learn too. But I guess not...
The rough concept does come through and I like it.
Also, Gal has a great look for this facially.
Could be. It looks pretty unbalanced to me.
