Sand always interested me. Same with Captain Boomerang JR. What about the Endless characters? Are they accepted into this RPG?

Sounds like we have a mystery on our hands! I bet like any great mystery it was the butler that did it.

Seriously though, who wants to help me form the JSA for next season? I was thinking they could have been missing for a few months or something without explanation. And when they return they can't quite describe what happend to them which could lead into something further down the line. I still have a lot of brain storming to do, and I could use a ton of help.

I'm not sure if I want to play Sentinel or Dr.Fate.

I'm already Jay over in One Universe, but it may be fun to play him here too. Or maybe Wildcat. But I don't know if I'll have time for a second character with what I'm trying to plan out with Sinestro.

Speaking of One Universe, why is that dying out? I even finally got Jay moved on and ready to go.

I love the idea of gimmicky boomerangs. Also, Sand's powers are interesting...and then there is Desire from the Sandman comics and....ERRRR! I hate having to pick between good characters.

Dick..not anymore. The dude is like some weird washed-up stoner with long straggly hair and look-a-likes who turn into squids. Also, he can't settle on a girl if his life depended on it. He's the worst kinda of a playa.

Sands seems to be a cult favorite of the JSA. He never really gets many big roles, but a lot of people seem to like him.

I'm not quite sold on the character, but I'm sure someone could convince me of his level of bad-assery.

Jay Garrick would be a good classic character to bring to the table.

We could also use Mr.Terrifics brains, Dr.Fates' magic, and Powergirls breas-...muscles.

To add a little testosterone to this conversation. Out of Arsenal (Red Arrow?) Batman and Catman, who would win in a fight if they all had their weapons?

We're allowing John Constantine but not Fables, so there is a line there.

I would say they're too powerful, but then I've never read the actual Sanman series, only their guest spots in books like JLA...

Batman, just because he's had more training. Arsenal would completely kick Catman's ass though, and has done so before.

The Endless exist in the DCU but would be relatively useless in this RPG. They overpower everybody, and thus would only be good for occasional interaction.

I know he changed his name back at the end of the 'Princes of Darkness' story in JSA, but for simplicitys sake I call him Sentinel still, and would probably rever to that name if I was playing the character.

Though I think I've changed my mind and would like to play as Dr.Fate instead. Regardless of whether or not the JSA is going to return/reform.

JSA would be awesome *hinthint* but if I gotta fly solo, I'll do my best to bring the craziness.

No. Not because of continuity issues, but because they're too powerful. The Spectre isn't allowed as a playable character either. However, you could use The Endless as NPCs. I used Death and Dream when Q got the crap beta out of him by The Joker and had a near death experience.


However, I think that some of the supporting characters from Sandman would be acceptible. Like, Dream's assistants in the Dreaming weren't particularly god like in their abilities.
