That is a pretty good point.

Maybe Ross was coincidentally the (now dead) President's VP as well as Luthor's.

Zoom can do a lot more than appear to run fast, too. Provided Hyper Venom knows how to use him, I'd prepare Supes for the fight of his life against Zoom when the time comes.

Yeah, in a straight fight, I'd give it to Zoom. But since these are comic characters, Superman would have some sort of trick up his sleeve to get a victory, of course.

You maybe should have mentioned that a few days ago when MST3K made his journey to Washington post. As is, I'm sticking with it.

In future posts I will refer to the President by another name...However he will still be very much in the Pete Ross mold. If we just pick and choose to focus on or ignore whatever we want in a post then that disrespects the person who posted and their character, and that will kill a good RPG faster than anything else.

Lex was definitely the Prez in Season 1, and Pete took over when Luthor resigned.

In a situation like the one where Luthor resigned, aren't the VP's only short term until a new election is held?

I ask because I honestly don't know, but that's how I thought the process worked.

The VP would've been acting president for the remainder of the president's term. I don't remember how the selection of another VP goes, though... either the ex-VP/acting president appoints one or the Speaker of the House becomes the new VP or something.

Your character development stuff is great. There's no rush. It's just that I'm dropping Zoom for another character before the season is over, but I'm not gonna do it until after Zoom and the Flash have a fight. After that, I'm gonna try to bring Zoom's storyline full circle and then drop him for...well, I guess mystery characters are the trend right now, aren't they?
