Yeah, comic Thor definitely looks cooler. SG-1's Thor had a Viking hologram, though, and his "hammer" was arguably cooler.

It was a teleporter that would find and eradicate a Goa'uld inside of a person. Plus there was basically a demonic-looking alien inside that would kill people.

No, but the Asgard could terraform planets and easily kick the ass of pretty much any other alien race except the Replicators and maybe the Ancients. They gave Earth's Stargate program shoddy, less sophisticated versions of their technology and now Earth's starships can kick the ass of pretty much any alien race except the Replicators and the Ancients.

Yeah, an Ancient device. The Ancients could do basically everything. Their teleporters don't seem to have advanced as far as the Asgards' though.

And the Ori. And Wraith.

Well, the Ori pretty much are the Ancients. And Prometheus easily kicks the ass of Wraith ships ten times larger and better armed than it is. The only reason the Wraith are a threat is because of their numbers relative to ours, same as it was with the Ancients.

I don't know. The Daedalus was getting whooped on pretty good by that Wraith ship in the season finale (not the double-team).

Whoops, I meant the Daedalus, not the Prometheus. True, the Daedalus has taken some rough hits from Wraith ships, but they also destroyed like 4 or 5 Wraith hives before they could jam their teleporter signal. The Daedalus routinely goes into battle against far superior numbers of Wraith ships and manages to damage or destroy a few before it's forced to retreat more often than not.

It was a depressing Season Finale.

Yeah, it really was. Not quite as depressing as BSG's, given that it'll be seven months until the next new episode of that series, but depressing all the same. Cliffhanger finales make me really anxious for like the entire month following them.
