Could the unaffected Dinah help those that are affected? Like Robin, who's having a heart attack right now.

Dinah wha...?

Quick question.

Since Sinestro has called the Guardians for help, and since we're testing 2 characters next season, which starts in just a little more than a week, would any of the GM's mind if I took over Kilowog now to kind of answer the call and help out with this virus thing? Maybe it could help speed the story up as well.

If not, that's cool. Just at thought I had.

That's funny. Before you took him, I was thinking of bringing Kilowog in as an NPC to help. Then I thought of bringing in Stewart.

And the call to the Guardians for help would be a good reason for Guy to show up next season, late as always. :p

If you don’t mind can you not do that. It might cause people to start making reasons for their character not being affected by the virus, example: Cyborgs Half Robot! He Can’t Get Infected and so on...

Ah, so the season is almost over?

That means The Joker can resurface for a season closing post to set up Season V...:joker:

Not the best example.

There is a chance that Cyborg would not be infected because of his synthetic blood. I believe it's more like oil than actual blood.

So the argument could really go both ways depending on the player.

And the reason Dinah doesn't contract the virus? She sleeps with Oliver Queen and doesn't catch an STD. She should be immune to any sort of biological weapon.

The virus would break the human part of his body down, killing him.

I thought the virus causes a heart attack? If somebody's heart isn't organic how would that work?

How does the virus work? The virus works by black cells attacking the bodies the red blood cells thus limiting the blood that can get to the heart, which means the has to heart pump faster and faster with little blood. The black cells also eliminate the white bloods cells so there’s nothing to fend off the virus and the body begins to break down. The virus can also mutant to affect other humanoid species like Korugarians.

She's busy arguing with an MP.

Normally I would bend over backwards and work her into being sick but I am just to stressed with the beginning of school to do that. Also Roy, Dick etc...they all need to start doubling over before I do. I refuse to be the only one crippled by the effects of the virus. Call me rebellious I'm tired of trying to bend my stuff to match other peoples stories only to end up being the only one doing it.

So if the other characters become effected I will have Dinah to.

With the time frame we have the ones getting the 'antidote' need to speed things up.

I will be closing this season ON September 1st.
I have already asked Mods to close the thread on that date. So if characters are still in the process of 'dying' or Parasite is mid-swing with a punch the season WILL be closed.

Can I asked why September 1st is being forced on us as the end of the season, when to my mind every season before (DC and Marvel) has reached a natural conclusion.

...Because none of the other seasons have gone on so unnessacarily long.

Looks like all of Batman's former associates are dropping like flies.

Even so, why force (and potentially ruin if some characters are in the middle of something) the end of the season? What would be the point of doing that?

Cliffhangers!

Cliffhangers should be planned if they're to occur. If the Parasite is in mid conversation with Superman and then the season ends, it's not a cliffhanger-it's just really ugly looking when you read the game. Setting such a strict schedule can rush the gameplay and possibly ruin an entire climatic finish (whether it be a fight scene or a dramatic character post) that is usually synonymous with season endings. So why do it?

Too much tension building about with the whole who and how the virus affects people...stop trying to find loopholes people! Just get infected! Isn't someone supposed to be bringing a cure soon anyway? Too many arguements over Red X's virus...and I can understand his frustration since it seems -gasp- no one is getting infected when they should. :O

Well Sinestro's a different species. And even if it could infect him, he never let's his handy-dandy forcefield drop. :D

Species shouldn't matter...the only thing different would be the symptoms or something...of course for the people with the power rings (GLs and Sinestro) yea I guess the forcefield could be some excuse...

Well I've had Nightwing become affected. Now neither Roy nor Dinah should have any good reason to not become affected aswell.

Especially Roy. :cmad:

Robin and Superboy have been infected too.
My last post ended with him in mid heart attack, and Superboy's powers are going wonky.
(Which I've repeated over and over again. Please, someone save Robin!)
