Hell now that I think about it Punk put up a better fight against Lesnar than Cena did tonight. Punk also almost won that match.

The only rematch I want to see Brock have is with CM Punk. Unfortunately they only have Cena to throw at him right now.

What about Sheamus as a contender for Brock's title? Not a big fan of Fella myself, but he's at least a big enough and tough enough brawler to give Lesnar a legit fight. Have they ever fought before?

Nope. Brock has only wrestled Triple H , Cena , Undertaker , Punk, and Big Show since his return. He also did a beat down on Mark Henry , The New Age Outlaws , and Shawn Michaels.

Sheamus would be a logical opponent and one of my picks. However he's not considered top tier right now. They'd have to build him up.

You know... Big Dave never got his one-on-one title shot. I wonder if that could be a short feud for Lesnar somewhere in the near future. Batista could actually come back as a popular face after leaving Evolution and doing so well in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Honestly if Bryan came back and faced Lesnar at Mania and Reigns beat HHH, WWE would be having their cake and eating it too because that would be TWO guys getting solidified as singles stars which could lead to those two eventually feuding at a Summerslam or next Mania.

Think about it, they could market the dynamic of "Flying Knee vs Superman Punch", the speedy technician vs the agile power wrestler etc etc

That could be their new Austin and Rock in a way or even HHH vs Rock if the other comparison doesn't fit.

Bryan and Big Dave are the two best contenders at this point. Batista would be a good choice for the rumble or elimination chamber ppv. Then Bryan at WM 31 . Book it!

I'm impressed (and relieved) they had Lesnar dominate Cena as much as he did. I just hope the angle is used to push someone else to eventually beat Lesnar, rather than same old 'Cena overcoming the odds' and getting his win back. If Cena gets his rematch and gets destroyed exactly the same way, it might actually be more interesting for him as a character. He could lose all his positivity and 'never give up attitude' without him going full heel.

Paige beating AJ was a nice surprise, although I have a horrible feeling that because now the Bella's will feud with each other and there are no good diva's to enter the title picture, the diva's title will literally just bounce between Paige and AJ continually without one being more dominant than the other. That being said, Steph should get back in the ring for a title shot! She was pretty impressive and powerful. Could be an interesting angle.

Rollins and Ambrose. Loved it. Ambrose hits an absolute monster clothesline and Seth sells it really well. I think ideally for me this feud should result in a TLC match at TLC, with the briefcase up for grabs and Ambrose wins it. I'd prefer to see the two of them locked in Hell in a Cell, but I don't think it'd happen as it's not a main event. Either way, Ambrose has to win the briefcase off Seth, and then potentially Seth could feud with Randy Orton after the Authority punish Seth for losing the briefcase and Orton has to get back in the Authority's good books.

I now don't see Daniel Bryan ever winning the WWE World Heavyweight title again. I'd guess like most people it'll be Lesnar vs Reigns at WrestleMania after Lesnar dominates for the rest of the year before Reigns beats him at Mania.

Well they have no real reason to undercut Bryan because the guy dominated Merch sales and he'll likely still be the 2nd highest when he returns. If they don't try to put Reigns in a situation that turns the crowd against him then they can have TWO memorable moments at Mania instead of one.

The Brock Lesnar who beat CM Punk was the Beast.

The Brock Lesnar who beat John Cena was the Beast and Breaker of Streaks.



But kayfabe wise, it makes sense. Cena's two qualities in the ring are his strength, endurance and durability, all of which were cancelled out by Brock's assault. CM Punk's qualities were his endurance, intelligence, technical skill, all of which helped survive and get around Brock's attacks as much as possible.

Plus, Punk and Brock are true Paul Heyman guys.

Honestly, Brie-Steph plus the Bellas feud plus Psycho Paige vs. Psycho AJ makes for the best divas action and story in years. Hopefully it means Vince is getting at least a little serious about the diva division. Still could use a PG-14 rating like the good ol' days, though.

As much as I really want to see him improve is in ring skills, I think the "he's not ready" type comments seem somewhat overblown.

Is he Daniel Bryan good? Nope, but by WWE's standards, he really dosen't need to be. He has the look, the badass persona, and mark out moves like the Spear, Superman Punch, and the apron dropkick. As long as he dosen't become a goody two shoes like Cena, he should be fine with the general audience.

I'm glad they separated the Shield this early. Roman should be learning to be a singles star as early as possible if he's gonna take Cena's spot.
