As much as I like Reigns, I fear that he is soon going to get "5 Moves of Doom" backlash.

Unless you're a technical wizard like HBK or Punk, or a badass like Austin, any ME guy is gonna get that type of backlash.

Let's hope that WWE isnt foolish enough to set Reigns up for a Cena type backlash.

Was a pretty good PPV. Kudos to Cena for taking the squash and doing the job as he did.

IF Reigns is officially taking Cena's spot/throne at WM31 by beating Brock for the title,Should he beat Trips clean at Survivor Series then dominate the Rumble?

He has 6 months and still needs a lot of progress to make and to get to credible to beat Brock

If he is going to get the massive push, then I think so, yes. He needs at least one really good match to make the crowd really respect and believe in him. I think Trips could be the one to carry him to that.

Finally got to see the main event and my oh my!......That was a grade A ass beatin if I ever saw one

what a crap PPV and a bad way to keep subscribers on the network.

first off you have hogan come out and cut a promo and basically sell the WWE network to current and new subscribers. Most of the matches were forgettable and found myself chating with buddies at the house more then watching the matches. Steph vs Brie was a snooze fest and dissapointed by Wyatt vs Jericho.

Lesnar and Cena's match was ok and it was nice to see cena get pounded for 20 minutes but not enough to have me on the edge of my seat. .

Also what was with all the talking and videos? not too mention freaking commercials on a PPV and the 5 minute Totinos ad/skit.

So what was with Ronda Rousey hanging out with Heyman & Crew last night? Any chance she's looking at joining the WWE in some capacity?

I think you just proved that there's no way to make everyone happy.

Probably just a fan, as well as an excellent self promoter.

I got a chance to watch the replay last night:

Thrilled for Ziggler. Glad to see he's getting pushed again.

Loved Brie's promo. Real great job by her there. She's really grown on me.

AJ/Paige was very good despite being short. L-O-V-E Paige in red. Pale skin + dark hair + red = WINNING.

Rollins and Ambrose was MotN easily. I hated the stip but they knocked it out of the park. Tremendous booking.

Steph's outfit = WOW and Nikki's turn was done well. I don't know how long a Brie/Nikki feud can last but I'm def interested in seeing at least one PPV match between them.

The main event was certainly a risk taker to do it like that but I thought it's going to be one we'll always remember.

I think she said she wants to work with them one day. I can see her putting her UFC career on hold at some point as a "retirement" so she can do these types of things (movies, ect). I noticed Steph threw up the 4 fingers at her during her entrance, symbolizing that 4 Horsewoman thing Rousey is always talking about.

Summerslam was great.Good for Ziggler and Cena taking the beating of his life.

This is surprising to here. As part of a group of pro wrestlers, we surely enjoyed this show, especially the main event for being something original. I can say, it helps to place bets :)

You honestly thought that was a solid to great PPV last night? Just because I didnt like it doesnt mean I cant be honest and critigue it. I dont need michael cole talking for a couple minutes explaning a fued to me then doing the fued video build up as well, pick one or the other. I have a right to be somewhat happy if I pay money for a PPV and expect great matches in the biggest PPV of the summer and not have to sit through tv spots or bad skits of pizza rolls. Not to mention them censoring the commentators like when JBL said jesus christ in the main event. I also dont need to be repeatedly beaten over the head about the WWE network becuase Vince is scared of his stock tanking again.

SummerSlam was great live. Some of the matches could've been better, but lots of logical booking decisions were made and I have almost nothing really negative to say about it, especially after Battleground was the ****s.

Dolph/Miz was a lot of fun and crowd was red hot for it.
Paige/AJ wasn't long, but it was fun while it lasted. Definitely a step above their Battleground and the finish was great. Short, but sweet.

Rusev/Swagger wasn't a standard Flag Match. Very 80s haha. Basic stuff, but Rusev was really good here and the finish was great. I'm definitely warming up to Rusev.

Rollins/Ambrose=BEST LUMBERJACK MATCH EVER. Just pure chaos haha. Didn't mind the finish given the booking. Rollins was given a credible win and also lets Dean look credible. Excited to see how the feud progress.

Jericho/Wyatt was okay. Better than their Battleground match, but the dynamic is so forced that I couldn't get invested into it.

Brie/Stephanie was such a Hogan/HHH match haha. The match itself was surprisingly decent, but Steph got a **** load of offense and not really selling for Brie. Oh and obviousl Russo Swerve with dat ending is obvious. :o

Reigns/Orton was decent. The finish was okay, but most of the match was just Randy "Headlock" Orton. The RKO/Superman Punch spot was great though.

Cena/Lesnar was an awesome ANGLE. As an actual match, it was really good. It was exactly the type of match they should've had at Extreme Rules in trying to establish him as a beast. Lesnar ****ing destroyed him and I barely saw any offense from him. Definitely had a real life fight atmosphere. I was expecting more, but I have no complaints about the actual booking.

Thats cool if you dug it but I just wasnt feeling it, like I said above the commercials and over talking and bad skits ruined the experience for me overall. Trust me Im not gonna come on here and say "this stuff sucks next to the attitude era" because that era was unique in its own right and will never be duplicated but this PPV was just average when compared to past summerslams. Lesnar winning the strap was good but not enough to save the show.

I feel like you just took my comment way too personally. I'm just saying that the ppv got damn near universally praised, and your comment proved that even then, not everyone will be happy. If you didn't like it, it's not going to keep me up at night.

She said she'd like to one day. Right now she's concentrating on UFC and movies. She said she wants to be the female Rock. There's an article with her on wwe.com http://www.wwe.com/shows/summerslam/2014/wwe-ronda-rousey-interview-26577503

Too funny!
I'm watching the replay of SummerSlam and Stephanie just made her entrance. As she was walking to the ring, my six year old daughter felt the need to inform me that, "Wow! She's hot!"
While I agree, I had to inform her that that's not exactly proper language for a little girl to be using.

On a side note, I'm wondering how Nikki turning heel will effect Cena. Since they are a real life couple, will they bring that into the storyline?

The way she was reacting last night, I wouldn't be surprised if they try to go the reluctant heel with her, rather then the full on one.

Lesnar just told TMZ he plans on merging the two belts.
