Evolution Randy would have been a great heel corporate champion then the mostly face run he had during his first world title reign

I'm a D-Bry mark..But also a Randy Orton mark,So not just would I enjoy the feud as I think it'd interesting/entertaining and good for both of them But as a fan I'm be really into it since I'd be going for both and wanting both to get the title

That's how I feel.

I like your booking, but I would make one change.

After Orton's cheap victory at the triple threat, Cena and Bryan have a PPV #1 contenders match. Cena wins (I am a believer than Cena needs major wins and title reigns every so often to support his character). So Bryan's dream is over, right? It seems so.

No! Orton, the sick sadist, does something terrible to Cena, maybe even involving cars being rammed into other cars or something. Cena is kayfabe injured, but out of admiration and respect, grants his title shot to Bryan, saying Bryan is one of the most honorable opponents he has ever faced. Then Bryan wins the title over Orton at a PPV, leading to Bryan vs. Punk down the road.

I would book the number 1 contenders match on PPV too but have Cena lose due to outside interference (Big E is who I have in mind) which will lead to his next feud to get him out of the title picture.

-- TNA is gearing up for a huge show tonight with the Destination X themed edition of iMPACT! Wrestling, but morale behind the scenes isn't that good. As you've seen over the last few weeks, there have been releases for cost cutting purposes, as well as the departures of D'Lo Brown and Bruce Prichard in recent days.

TNA has been making cuts to the budget due to the added costs of taking iMPACT! on the road. Costs have increased, but revenues have not, so the move has become a drain on the company.

-- There are a lot of good seats left for tonight's TV tapings, including seats in the fourth row on the floor.

STATEMENT FROM TNA ENTERTAINMENT REGARDING SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING AND TALENT RELATIONS BRUCE PRICHARD

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 18, 2013) – TNA has parted ways with Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations Bruce Prichard. "TNA is headquartered in Nashville, and, as we move forward, our creative team and executive leadership will be here in Nashville with us," said President of TNA Dixie Carter. "Bruce's dedication and passion for TNA and IMPACT Wrestling will be missed, and we thank him for the incredible work he has done for us. We wish him all the very best."

D'Lo Brown released the following statement on his Twitter account regarding his departure from TNA Wrestling.

"I guess it’s time to address the rumors surrounding me over the last few days. It is true that my employment with TNA has come to an end. I consider myself fortunate to have worked so closely with some of the best up and coming talent in the business. I also had the privilege to work closely with some of the greatest this industry has produced.

I can tell you this for sure I will miss sharing a locker room with some of the most genuine men and women (you know who you are) that I have ever been around.

I want to say thank you to the many fans that have shown support for me over the years.

I will keep everyone updated on what my future plans are.

In the meantime all booking inquires should be directed to [email protected] or [email protected].

Recognize"

I'd have Orton hold the title until Mania with Punk winning the Royal Rumble and boom your WWE Championship match in New Orleans!

About the Cena vs. Bryan matchup, and rumored Orton interference....

What if *Cena* is the one to do a heel turn? Have Bryan win the title fair, but Cena betrays him and robs him of the belt...maybe using Kane to pull off a hit on him. Cena is already hated for being a *good* guy; why not give audiences an *actual* reason to hate him by making him a heel?

I like the belt. It reminds me of an X style version of the IC Belt

TNAInsider.com is reporting that Devon either will be offered - or has already been offered - the agent position vacated by the release of D-Lo Brown.
Devon and Bully Ray have both worked the agent position on and off in TNA numerous times in the past. At this point there has been no word on whether Devon will wrestle and work the agent position, or if he will be winding down his active wrestling role with the company

Luke 'DOC' Gallows broke his silence on his TNA release tonight with Inside The Ropes. Here are highlights from the interview:

Why he left TNA:"I think that there were big plans for me going forward and part of me thinks it's a shame that we didn't get to go that route but the decision was a mutual thing and was strictly a business decision. I really enjoyed the year I had with TNA, I got to work with some of my best friends doing the Aces and Eights thing and there's some really fine people there. But at the end of the day business is business. I had to weigh up my options in the business and opportunities I have, and I guess TNA were looking at where they were business wise. We couldn't mutually agree on something that was good for both of us. The door isn't closed though and the parting wasn't bad or animosity on either side. I think it's a bit of a shame that the fans won't get to see what we had planned but it's the nature of the beast I guess. There's some other thing I wanna do in wrestling and now I can go and explore that."

Rumors that TNA is in trouble after taking Impact on the road: "It always looked to me on the surface, like it was a positive move. The houses for those live TVs looked good on camera. I don't know what it costs to do those live shows, I'm sure it's expensive. But none of us know what the TNA bank account or the Carter family bank account looks like. Panda Energy are a huge company so I don't know if we can infer that they're in trouble but I certainly hope and want to believe that they're not and 30 wrestlers won't be out of a job. I mean, When negotiations with me broke down on Tuesday night, I was at home with my family and they said they were sorry to hear about it, but I've been in this position before, I know how well I did. You gotta just hit the ground running whatever happens. I'm hoping that they're not in trouble. I'd hate hate to think there's a big mass of guys sitting out there looking for a job."

Working with CM Punk: "Here's the thing with CM Punk, people misconstrue him, who he is and what he is. A lot of people ask me if he's a jerk. The thing I always say is, he has an extreme passion for this business and what he does.Unlike some guys, He's not afraid to voice his opinion and say what he feels. When he got frustrated (in 2009 during Undertaker feud) was a sign of his passion for the business. Now, people have come to accept it because they know him and the quality person and performer that he is."

To hear the full interview where Luke talks about being part of Aces & Eights, his time with the company, working as Festus in WWE, plans he had for that gimmick and much more head to facebook.com/theinsidenetwork.

It sounds like Scott Hall is in negotiations with 2K Sports to appear in WWE 2K14. That's gonna make my friend Nate extremely happy as he's the biggest Scott Hall mark I know lol.

Is there an alternative cover with a golden shovel?

WWE creative has apparently reached out to Stone Cold Steve Austin regarding WM30. Their pitch is to have Austin represent Vince McMahon in a match with Triple H over control of the WWE in a culmination of this slow burn storyline.

I think a majority of us have been clamoring for it but I don't think Cena would ever go for it

And I don't think it's just the WWE refusing to turn him, I think at this point he's the one driving the John Cena as a face truck. Last year he did an interview where he basically said he couldn't see himself ever doing a heel turn, sounding eerily like Bret Hart back in the day.

I doubt Austin goes for it. We saw Austin and Hunter face each other in their primes. Austin needs someone who can pick up some of the slack. I honestly feel the only person Austin would come back for is Punk or maybe Lesnar. There is no money in HHH/Austin.

It's hard to say at this point. They may be looking at Punk/Cena main event and Undertaker/Lesnar.

AT A TRYING TIME IT'S BIG NIGHT FOR TNA, HOW TO AFFECT CHANGE TO TURN THINGS AROUND, NEW TITLE BELT TO DEBUT AND MORE

By Dave Scherer on 2013-07-18 10:20:00
While the company is putting on a good face in promoting tonight's Destination show, which is in essence an PPV quality free show, things behind the scenes are not so rosy. Given the recent cutbacks and releases, it's fair to say that morale is hardly high in TNA right now. The primary factor in TNA's recent belt tightening comes from the decision to take Impact out of Orlando and on the road every other week. The decision has increased costs dramatically with no proportional rise in revenue to make leaving The Impact Zone a wise move. It has not increased viewership as the people that championed it, like Hulk Hogan http://www.pwinsider.com/article/79...nd-new-title-belt-to-debut-and-more.html?p=1# and Eric Bischoff, claimed it would. With increased costs and stagnant revenue, belt tightening has become a necessity. As we saw yesterday with Bruce Prichard's release, it's fair to say that very few people, if anyone, is safe. Unless things do a dramatic turnaround, things will continue to be tumultuous down in Nashville.

To me, the problem has always been that there are too many people with too much say in the product, which is the same problem that WCW had. Say what you want about Vince McMahon, but his vision is the WWE product. Obviously, Dixie Carter is not his equal so she needs to rely on wrestling http://www.pwinsider.com/article/79...nd-new-title-belt-to-debut-and-more.html?p=1# people. The problem is that she relies on too many of them and with them all having their own agenda, the product suffers. She needs to cut back on how many cooks she has because they are spoiling her soup, so to speak.

Speaking of taking the show on the road being a less than smart move, there are a ton of good seats available for the show tonight. I just checked and can get seats in the fourth row on the floor. That is not good. If you are interested in getting tickets, click here.

The Broadbent Arena looks to hold about 6,600. Looks to be about 3,500-4,000.

It looks like we might have an Ultimate X match later on. The rig is above the ring with the title hanging from it.

Explosion:

Devon vs. Joseph Park: Joseph Park wins with a splash from the second rope.

In agreement here. But maybe the problem is Dixie has no idea how to carry the company so he has to rely on advice from others more experienced in the business. The problem is her advisors aren't always giving her the right direction.

TNA should return to the Impact Zone, and go on the road for PPVs or summer tours only. Hogan should bite the bullet and take a pay cut.
