Does that mean I'll get my 2 Decades of Destruction shirt?!

WWE creative has apparently reached out to Stone Cold Steve Austin regarding WM30. Their pitch is to have Austin represent Vince McMahon in a match with Triple H over control of the WWE in a culmination of this slow burn storyline.

No! Please, no!

I can't see Austin agreeing to it except being a ref

He always referees the ****tiest of matches so it wouldn't surprised if he does end up accepting.

IF it'll really be Vince's swan song for his character on TV then it'd be nice to see Austin stunner his one last time

So....does anyone really give the slightest of craps about TNA? :hehe:

With that said
it looks like they pulled the trigger on Chris Sabin.

Better than having Hogan take the belt off of Bully, that's for damn sure!

First, disappointed that was spoiled for me. Second. disappointed they went that route.

My apologies. I just thought the show was live. Wasn't that how TNA was advertising it?

TNA's new X-Division title:

It reminds me of the NXT Divas belt.

Why he left TNA:"I think that there were big plans for me going forward and part of me thinks it's a shame that we didn't get to go that route but the decision was a mutual thing and was strictly a business decision. I really enjoyed the year I had with TNA, I got to work with some of my best friends doing the Aces and Eights thing and there's some really fine people there. But at the end of the day business is business. I had to weigh up my options in the business and opportunities I have, and I guess TNA were looking at where they were business wise. We couldn't mutually agree on something that was good for both of us. The door isn't closed though and the parting wasn't bad or animosity on either side. I think it's a bit of a shame that the fans won't get to see what we had planned but it's the nature of the beast I guess. There's some other thing I wanna do in wrestling and now I can go and explore that."

I wonder if that's returning to WWE to be part of the Punk/Heyman angle.

That's a fantastic cover!

I was thinking the same thing, usually with Impact no one bothers posting what's going on so I don't need to worry about spoilers before watching it tomorrow.

As for the result....:funny: I'm sure he'll drop it back in a week or two.

Only started an hour ago. Probably on tape delay a few hours (even though I thought this was a 3 hour show that started at 8 PM...).

I don't care about Chris Sabin so this is meh. I guess TNA got to do the injury comeback push that was planned for Sorensen.

To be honest, I do. I really enjoy TNA overall, despite its flaws. They have some tremendous talents who put on amazing matches. They'll never be what the NWA/JCP/WCW was, or even what the AWA or World Class was, but those companies had YEARS of history and heritage behind them. Also, this is a different era. Wrestling is not the draw that it once was.

Still, I believe TNA's success is important to the business. Vince was always at his best when he had competition. Yes, WWE is on a roll right now, but the company has always had peaks and valleys creatively. I believe Vince needs someone to consistantly push him, and at the very least, I want to see an alternative to WWE's product on national television, and wrestlers should have another stateside option for work besides WWE's monopoly and the indies.

I don't know if anyone saw Main Event but it was a solid 3 match show, Fandango managed his second good outing of the week and The Wyatt's showed up in the main event and stacked up bodies before Bray cut a promo.

NXT was also a good show with the debut of Flair's daughter, she's a tremendous athlete with some pretty neat offense. The NXT tag titles main event was also worth seeing.

My apologies. I just thought the show was live. Wasn't that how TNA was advertising it?

TNA always begins the live Impacts at 7:00 or 7:30 local time, and then airs it on tape delay. This way, they can record two episodes back-to-back, and still send the crowd home at a decent hour.
