I'm gonna see where this goes. I honestly didn't expect to be super face after his Pipebomb last year.. I expected him to stay a tweener.. but he skyrocketed. Sadly his feud with Triple H ended up fizzling out which I think hurt his run a bit.

I'd like him to be the first heel that wasn't a total ***** though.

Which will be Cena no doubt. Rock/Cena 2 calls for Cena to win.

Yeah But point is Rock may lose at the biggest ppv and drop the title before leaving again,IF/When it's Cena then ones who *****ed about him losing at WM28 could&should be happy he'd end up going over Rock after all and getting the title

Business wise it's the face of the company beating Rock even if it'd took a 2nd try But he'd walk out of WM with the WWE title as Rock leaves and he stays victorious

RAW was good tonight, but it was a bit of a letdown and not the blowaway show I expected.

I still cannot believe they wasted JR the way they did and did not have Austin appear. JR should have been the one to call the WWE title match, not put ina throwaway six man tag.

BTW, where was Edge?

Punk had some interesting Tweets tonight...

For everybody born of an unfortunate circumstance. Tonight's for you. Watch me rise #RAW1000

Haters, make sure you tune in as well. I'm a man of my word.

Obviously Batman inspired... But still interesting.

Also.. This is freaky..

Things are probably shaky between Edge and WWE due to the fact that he doesn't have a similar contract to Shawn Michaels. However, I don't think they are shaky enough for him to go to TNA.

I wasn't a big fan of tonight's RAW. AJ as GM and Punk turning heel was interesting, and the IC title match was okay. There were no returns where I was like "WOW" though. I was expecting a much better show tonight.

In my honest opinion, Sheamus has shown no signs that he's capable of being something that could be considered as the Second Top Face of the company. He's not even interesting for me as a character. He has great in ring skills without a doubt, and the right image..but he fits more as a heel for me than as a face.

How do you have the 1000th Raw without the biggest star Raw has ever had?
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Austin turned it down like he did WM because he's not going to play second fiddle to Brock or Rock.

If Punk is indeed full on heel.. I wonder if it could be his own idea. He's not known as the best "people person."

And being a bad guy may keep people away from him a bit more.

I think I heard he's filming a movie.I checked IMDB and it looks like Grown ups 2 is filming.Oh well.

I don't think he's on shaky ground with WWE. He just made an appearance not too long ago on RAW. I think it was just a matter of not using him for whatever reason.

Edge is a WWE lifer. I could never see him in TNA

So he would rather do a movie with two of the worst actors on the planet in David Spade and Rob Schneider than arrive, stun, drink beers and leave?

Always thought he was more of a Marvel guy, but I know he likes Batman.

That's possible, but the thing is unlike Rock, Austin doesn't seem ready to commit to having a match yet, so he can't be featured in a main spot. To me the 1000th Raw should have had a Austin/McMahon segment.

Maybe so he can get his match with Austin.........OR, it's time to pay the debt for last years free shot on the mic.

That appearence he made was the Raw before Extreme Rules where he cut that promo on Cena, that was the last night of his deal and he was there initially to talk about an extension. The deal fell through as they offered him a legends deal, not a big money deal like HBK and Austin have.

Maybe he can't leave?I dunno,It's all disappointing. The only thing that would have made the show better was Austin(Or maybe a couple others),but I thought Austin was a given. It was still an enjoyable show.

I can't wait for Punk's epic rant on Rock and Cena. Time to talk about only main eventing one PPV as champion. Time to talk about the company never fully getting behind him. Time to talk about nostalgia acls stealing his spotlight.

Was a decent raw. I was expecting more faces to appear. There were 4-5 awesome parts. Punk turning back in to a heel was the only part of the show where I literally yelled at my tv in excitement. Was expecting the glass to shatter vs heath and have austin back in wrestling gear. Which would of been amazing. No such luck though.

Oh ok. gotcha, thanks for clearing that up. My timeline is a little screwy

It don't have to mean that,It could have been in his contract or something that he had to shoot scenes tonight!!

Punk's pipebombs could indeed be interesting&intense with him back as a heel

Interesting, so Stone Cold Steve Austin didn't appear on the 1,000th Raw as he was the show's biggest star who made it awesome during the Attitude Era. CM Punk turning heel has been done before and AJ becomes GM, which makes me not believing this since we know Vince McMahon runs the show.

Now this is TNA's opportunity to take advantage of this by continuing to produce Impact as its new direction is catching on with DirecTV returning.

PS - Bully Ray and D-Von's TNA contracts are set to expire in 4-5 weeks as they try to work out a new deal with TNA.
