Ok, thanks.

I'm guessing one of the purposes of the masks is so they can eventually put a star or two in the mix eventually as this thing develops. It would probably be a tougher sell with just some random jobber.

So who are the actual guys in Aces and Eights? Are they just random jobbers or known wrestlers?

So far Luke Gallows, Mike Knox, and Wes Brisco have been confirmed to be a part of the group, with Jay Bradley, Chris Masters, and Domino suspected to be a part of it as well. Jarrett is being reported to be behind the attacks.

It was reported that TNA has been rotating who they use as part of the attacks to keep people guessing on who ends up in the group when they are revealed.

Jimmy!

....but seriously why does Sam Shaw get a contract, while Velvet Sky who is actually OVER is denied a raise?

First,

Second, no idea. Guess they rather pay someone beans for one segment and never use them again than pay a well known, respected and fan loved wrestler what she's earned.

Cool, thanks again. I read Bleacher Report a lot but I wasn't sure if they had reported any of it or not.

I do hope Mike Knox is a permanent member, though. He might be a good fit for TNA as a big man. Plus, I wouldn't mind see him in the ring with Kurt Angle or Bully Ray (who had a great match tonight, the best match of the week so far).

No problem!

If you want reliable wrestling related news read PWInisder.com and Prowrestling.net. PWInisder is the best and most reliable news site on the web, and they also provide the most content and break the most news.

Wrestlezone.com is not a bad site. They don't really break any stories, but the report news from Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Oberserver newsletter.

Or PW247.net.

Please go there. Any traffic helps. We do news updates regularly now, and we have This Week In Wrestling History.

And a new show that starts today, actually, RIGHT NOW!

Ah, it's good to have Impact on my DirecTV again after two weeks?

It's also good to see TNA fighting back against the Aces and Eights while there's accusation against James Storm thanks to Bobby Roode.

I had a feeling that it was going to be Kenny King to face Zema Ion for the X-Division title since Austin Aries is friends with him and Roode knows this as he send a message to him.

The BFG series matches are great as always and an improvement over last year's in terms of in-ring work, but these commercials are becoming annoying.

It seems that Tara has taken Velvet Sky's place when she teamed with Mickie James against Gail Kim and Madison Rayne, whose storyline with referee Earl Hebner ties in.

Sam Shaw got a contract with TNA after he lost to the returning Doug Williams and I guess the judges were doing that to tick off Joey Ryan a lot more.

Chavo Guerrero's debut was good and I had a feeling that they'd pair him with Hernandez to take on Kid Kash and Gunner. Hernandez and Gunner could learn a lot from both Chavo and Kash.

A good edition of Impact overall here.

So the new backstage interviewer is the older brother from the Wonder Years.

He's 's a big wrestling fan and is friends with Bichoff But I thought he owned a production company,Although the backstage interviews in TNA does have a documentary style&feel to it..Which I like!

Jason Harvey is Bischoff's business partner. They have produced several reality shows for Viacom networks together.

He was also in Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

Yep, I'm a huge fan of The Wonder Years, so I get a kick out of sewing him on TNA.

He was also a celebrity judge at the first Clash of the Champions.

My 2 cents on Bryan, Rock, and Sheen.

I'm fine with the Bryan, Punk, and Rock segment. Quite frankly, a year ago they wouldn't have put Bryan in the same ring as Rock. I didn't see it as being 'buried', Rock has dumped on Cena much worse, he's rock bottomed people like Hulk Hogan in promo segments. It actually helps Bryan, I think.

However, I hope they don't do a Bryan vs Charlie Sheen angle. I do not see how it could help Bryan. These celebrity angles only go one way - with the celebrity getting over on the wrestler. And Sheen is unstable, and his 'heat' from a year or two ago. It's not gonna get the WWE much publicity, and it will make Bryan look weak.
Ditto. I do want to see Bryan get some sort of payback on Rock tho.
not a fan of the rock/cena II match
i'd much prefer rock vs brock II or punk vs austin in that spot
Ditto. "Once in a lifetime" was enough. Rock should only work w/people he can help get more over. Cena's not one of those people IMO. Punk beating Rock would be awesome but it probably won't happen. Bryan helping Punk win would also be acceptable but I'd prefer he win clean

The fact 55% WWE's own "Universe" voted for Punk vs Rock in a 3-way poll shows there isn't that big of an interest in a Rock vs Cena II, probably because the first was so underwhelming.

Exactly give me Punk vs. Rock twice those two no matter what can put on the best promos against each other. When it came to Rock and Cena it seems like the Rock Promos pretty much destroyed the Cena promos which was not surprising at all.

I wasn't impressed with Rock's promos during the build to WrestleMania 28. It was a bunch of long winded crap about goosebumps, twitter, and kung pow chicken.

Punk vs Rock at WM would be fresh/new(yes even after their Royal Rumble match)and it won't ruin the"once in a lifetime"gimmick between Cena&Rock!

Plus IF Punk is a heel around that time and goes over Rock for the title then he can add it to a storyline to give him tons of heat by saying he did what Cena couldn't after two WM's in a row by leaving WM as WWE champion and beating Rock at WM!

I kinda hope DB wins the RR this year and he gets his shot at the Rock or we have a Triple Threat match at the WM Rock vs. Punk vs. Daniel Bryan I'm dreaming I know because that probably will never happen.

A-Ry Has No Comment on Cena Rumor

When asked on Twitter if rumors of him being in the dog house due to a backstage altercation with John Cena are true, Alex Riley posted the following on Twitter:

"I'd rather not comment about this... At this time."

Morgan "Never" Returning?

Matt Morgan continues to tease that he's finished with TNA by posting the following response on Twitter to a fan asking when he will return to Impact Wrestling: "I'd say somewhere in between NEVER and EVER."

Funny or Die released this hilarious video today of Kurt Angle competing for the 2012 Olympic Trials with the help of RVD. The video also features a small cameo from Miss Tessmacher.

Kurt still has great comic timing!
