Man, this Clash of Champs reminds me of a time when a Muta appearance was exciting.

The dingdongs :lmao:

One of the dumbest gimmicks in wrestling period...with Naked Mideon and Beaver Cleavage right above it

They could wrestle well though

Jarrett keeps announcing deals with international promotions, but has yet to mention a TV deal for GFW.

If he gets a deal with CMT or TNT that would be solid exposure for his new product...I'm really excited for it somewhat because of all the partnerships though.

NJPW especially because it means Styles, Nakamura, Shibata and Okada will be able to appear from time to time

So some of the top 5 best in the world? Noice.

So is GFW gonna be a promotion in itself, or will it be like the NWA with multiple organizations sharing talent?

Also, watching Chikara's Quantam of Solace.

GFW will have a relationship with NJPW, who have a relationship with ROH and CMLL and AAA. So I don't know if we'll see any home-grown talent.

Also, Day 2 of the G1 was very good. Surpassed my expectations given the underwhelming card. Also, **** you Shelton Benjamin for screwing up my rankings!!!

What's also interesting is that Billy Corgan's Resistance Pro has a greenlight reality series set to air on AMC at some point...Things could get interesting this year in the wrestling world.

GFW, the company with several partnerships, the producer of "The Biggest Loser" and being hyped as the most interactive and "fan friendly" promotion

AND

Corgan's Resistance Pro, one of the only wrestling companies regulated by Chris Nowinski's sports commission is getting a series on the channel that's home for shows like Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.

A lot of potential here with pro wrestling alternatives. WWE better get everything in order because if those companies get steam and become potentially popular on TV, they could lose some frustrated talent like Ziggler and Sandow to them.

Jarrett is doing GFW better than TNA. I do see him getting some legends in the business who are not under contract with WWE and/or are not in good terms with the WWE right now.

Out of all of the former WWE divas, Jarrett knows that the big two, Trish Stratus and Amy Dumas are loyal to WWE. So he may pursue Ivory or Jacqueline as trainers of some sort.

Hopefully Jarrett actually has learned something from his TNA errors.

That said, I could easily see him reaching out to Jacqueline, Ivory, Mickie James, Mick Foley, Jim Cornette, and Jim Ross to get involved with GFW.

So I take it stings first promo will be about how TNA was nothing but bush leagues, lot of inside references and how he's finally come to a place that will respect him

What? Sorry it's usually the other was around isn't it.

"Bah gawd Jarrett's the first GFW Champion! JARRETT JARRETT JARRETT!!!"

Somehow I don't think Cornette will be involved extensively in GFW.

I want GFW to succeed, but he needs to hire new art people. The logo and presentation have been horrible thus far.

The partnerships look promising, but I want to see who will be on their main roster.

I think he should throw as much money as possible at Ricochet.

The person/people at WWE who didn't sign him to a developmental deal must ride the short bus.

The supposed reason for not signing Ricochet was ridiculous.

Seriously. Hunter has been dead on with all of his signings as of late, but they dropped the ball by passing on Ricochet.

Athletic, exciting, super marketable, good look.

WWE is wisening up though. They've been snatching up almost anybody that is worth having on the indies, so JJ needs to start aggressively signing guys before Hunter/WWE monopolizes all of the talent.

Devitt, Steen, AND Kenta were huge pickups.

That Cena fan kid is marking out!

Poor Rey's knees are shot to hell. They need to let him out of his contract and just induct him into the HOF.

Tatanka's sons?

It must be pretty dope to be part of a wrestling family bloodline. Vince seems to take good care of the families of the guys who worked for him.

When I met Sting yesterday, it was kinda cool to see me and him are essentially the same height.
