It appears as if this week's episode of Impact Wrestling may have been the last we'll see of the Austin Aries and Bobby Roode tag team, officially.

The two former World Champions have been working unrelated singles matches at TNA house shows for several weeks, and after suffering back-to-back losses at Slammiversary and this past week's Impact Wrestling, it is likely their partnership that saw the team win TNA's tag team gold, will be disbanded.

Both Roode and Aries are scheduled to begin competing in the upcoming Bound for Glory series, culminating in a World Heavyweight Championship match at Bound for Glory this October, live on pay-per-view.

I have mixed emotions about this...Aries and Roode are so good individually, and both should be in line for another world title run, in my opinion. But they're really good as a tag team, and have been a highlight of Impact for the past few months. Personally, I think they have a lot of legs left in their tag team run...I hate to see it come to an end.

I barely keep up with the product at all and haven't watched anything in a few months. Only reason I want to go to Payback is because I only recently moved to Chicago, and have always wanted to go to a wrestling show in New York and Chicago. I'm hoping to experience a hot and fun crowd that usually comes from these major cities. Getting to see Punk & Jericho in person again though would be great, plus seeing Bryan in his hot streak and whatever it is Shield winds up doing.

I think TNA are looking at how boring their single match line up is right now. You have Angle, Joe, AJ, Magnus, Hardy, Sting and Storm as faces, but if you pair them off with the main heels they are all in Aces & Eights, and bar whoever faces Bully do you want to see any of the match-ups? Roode and Aries will give them two independent heels for some of the other faces to work with and add variety and high profile feuds to the show.
