If they really do proceed with Orton/Batista as the title match, I'd be absolutely SHOCKED to see it end Mania. I'm imagining Lesnar/Goldberg from WM XX with 10x the heat, and there's a legit possibility to see trash fill the ring. Is that really the image you want in the match that supposedly has the biggest prize in the industry at stake?

I can't believe they'd be so stupid, but I wouldn't put it past them at this point.

I don't think coming to WWE earlier would have helped him. He was exactly where he needed to be in WCW, IMO. I say this as a huge WCW fan.

Almost all of the huge stars at the time became members of some form of the NWO, and Flair missed a lot of time for one reason or another. WCW needed a couple of home grown stars to exist outside of the NWO bubble, and they saw that potential in DDP. I'm not sure he would have ever gotten the go ahead in WWF/E. He didn't really have the WWF/E "look" and fit in a lot more with the WCW audience.

I know some of this sounds like I am putting down DDP and/or WCW, but I am really not.

I agree and you're right,I just think he could have had some good matches and maybe good feuds if he had a WWF run before the Invasion or if younger by the time he did arrive.

But yeah it turned out awesome for him in WCW anyway and defiantly a home grown star

Decent Main Event episode,I really like Kofi/watching him perform and am fine with him just being a mid carder..But he's stuck in neutral and need a character change,Doesn't have to turn heel(although would be interesting)but just some big character tweak would be nice .

He's being pushed bigger than people like Ziggler and okay fine but he needs to be more than just same old Kofi that he's been since his feud with Orton ended years ago with only change being new attire
