Regarding Jeff Jarrett's new promotion, while country music star Toby Keith is the main person behind it, it will likely be financed by a group of partners and not just with Keith's money. At last report, Keith was worth $500 million, which is a lot more than Vince McMahon was worth before WWE stock went through the roof. When the group was looking at buying TNA, it was always described as "Nashville music investors."

Jarrett appeared on February 22nd at a sports convention in Nashville and didn't say much about the new promotion except that it is "a go" and he talked about the idea of doing a Tuesday night TV show.

- Kharma has been announced for Booker T's March 8th Reality of Wrestling tapings in Houston.

- Bill Apter reports that Jake "The Snake" Roberts had about 5 1/2 hours of surgery on Tuesday but is very concerned because doctors don't know what kind of cancer he has. He also has two more growths on his other leg, although not as large. The good news is doctors think they got the cancer in its early stages.
