- It does not look like Daniel Bryan will be returning at the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble after all.

Bryan is still not regaining strength in his arm and word once again is that he may need surgery.

Bryan was trying to have the other surgery back in August but doctors said maybe he wouldn't need it. Bryan wanted to go ahead and get surgery out of the way so he could return.

It's no longer looking like Bryan will be back for the Rumble but he should be back in time for WrestleMania 31.

If this is true I sometimes wonder if Bryan's injury was an inside job by WWE....crazy I know but when guys we like get a big break they seem to get injured in some way or form during Summerslam in a way that can possibly kill their heat.

Daniel Bryan is quickly turning into one of the saddest stories ever.

I hope they can get some vignettes or something going for Bryan in early 2015. The fans will still be behind him, but if his absence becomes more than a year, they will really need something out there to keep his character in the minds of fans.

Looks like Big Dave was right. Cena/Orton will be in a HIAC. :barf:

The Christian burial series should be great to play. :o

:funny: @ the Mark Henry pack tho.

Man that sucks about Bryan :csad:, disappointed about Roberts, too.

Roberts' release was...unexpected. At least he can say he was the one who announced the end of The Undertaker's Wrestlemania Streak.

That already happened at Royal Rumble. Crowd dumped all over their match.

Ironically, the crowd hating made the match better as it caused both men to kick it up a notch instead of going through the motions.

That's not how storytelling works. Turning your match into a finisher fest isn't "kicking it up a notch." If anything, it's desperation. It's the same problem Rock/Cena II had, but at least the crowd gave a **** about Rock.

don't care for the match. Rollins vs. Ambrose is the one to watch.

I know, but having ANOTHER Cena/Orton match on PPV, but this time being inside Hell in a Cell (AGAIN) lessens the gimmick and the feud that actually deserves it (Ambrose/Rollins).

You don't REALLY think it was an inside job, do you? I know it's fun to hate WWE creative/owners on here, but that conspiracy theory is just too silly.

It won't kill his heat at all, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. In fact I think that's why he's been kept away completely, so that when he does come back, it will be completely unexpected and they'll blow the roof off the place.

Of course not but I hate the fact that the timing seems to be a recurring pattern with all of this and it gives WWE an excuse to kick these guys to the back of the line of they don't fit their mold.

I agree with this way of looking at it. If he's on tv doing interviews or being shown doing rehab every week, it takes away that "holy ****" moment when he returns.

It makes it exciting to watch. (That's why Redemption Vs. Greatness was better than boring ass "Once" In Lifetime.)

Their matches from the past year puts most of their matches from 07-09 to shame.
