Rewatching Brock/Punk at school right now. Holy crap, this match is off-the-charts incredible!

I have a strong suspicion that Ricardo Rodriguez comes back in a week or two as a bona fide luchador and kicks his former boss' ass all over the ring to get revenge for the head squash.

Even though we "know" that RR is a skilled wrestler, in the storyline he's not, so there needs to be some kind of exposition.

Maybe a returning Rey Mysterio takes RR under his wing, and trains him over the next few episodes to miraculously become a skilled luchadore. It would be good character development for both of them.

Bryan and HBK vs Orton and HHH will happen I believe.

Or at least HBK in his corner, I don't see them putting Punk in this angle till the Rumble.

WM 30 is Clobberin Time!

Punk really has delivered in almost every big match he's been in. Arguably WWE's workhorse.

RAW's definitely going to be interesting tonight!!

Wouldn't mind seeing Punk in a program with the World Title. A program with him vs. Sandow would be entertaning as hell.

Punk deserves better than the World Title.

And I'm looking at the next NJPW show card and they have assembled Kazuchika Okad vs Satoshi Kojima and Tetsuya Naito vs Masato Tanaka. Holy crap those are going to be amazing!! :D

What's the point of the World Title now anyways? There is no brand split anymore, not really, and nobody believes the World Title is actually on the same level of prestige as the WWE Heavyweight Title. Wouldn't it be better to just unify the belts, and then allow more time for the IC and US titles to be used for establishing midcard talent?

The WWE World Championship doesn't mean jack so it doesn't matter who holds it.

But it should mean something. Personally I prefer the WHC to the WWE title because it's an actual "world" championship. Say what you will about the WWE Title, but if it doesn't have "world" in its name, it's not a world title :o Plus, the belt is nicer :hehe:

The World Championship deserves to be on the same level as the WWE Championship. If not, then the belts should be unified as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Regarding Kofi Kingston, they really dropped the ball with his return. There should've been a match where Ryback squashes someone and is beating them down after the match (or "bullying" the time keeper/ref) and Kofi's music hits and he runs to the ring to deliver a quick beatdown on Ryback, forcing Ryback to retreat.

agreed.

I mean......sometimes I have to remind myself who exactly the IC and US champs are.

What we will get...

Cena vs Orton for the WWE Title in a blindfold kendo-stick pinata match, where the champion is determined by how much candy they can collect in 30 minutes (by weight)
Brie Bella vs JoJo for the Diva's Title in a winner gets to sleep with Bray Wyatt match
Daniel Bryan vs Vince McMahon in a bra and panties match
Undertaker vs The Great Khali in a Punjabi spelling bee contest

You forgot to include stipulations. Fixed for you.

This angle won't last until Mania.
Royal Rumble is the farthest it'll go. However, I see them doing with Bryan what they did with punk in 2011 when Del Rio cashed in, and have Bryan feud with Triple H for a while, and put the title back on him at TLC.

Undertaker is at the point his career where he would sit Mania out rather than work with Khali.

Only half of us want Punk vs. Bryan. The rest of us want Punk vs. Cena.

I don't see how anyone could complain about the ending of last night. Bryan was made, went over on Superman clean and decisively. Orton finally turned as well as Triple H, doing what he should have done in the Punk angle of 2011. Trips was always better as a heel, more open to losing as a heel, and we all view him as an ego-maniacal boss anyway so what is the issue? With Cena leaving for surgery and Bryan established as a true main event player, Bryan is going to get a chance to be the lead face for in the short term and he has two new foils.

As for tonight, this is an outline for the direction I would take. Cena is on the show, defending Daniel Bryan who will logically be out for revenge. With Ric Flair resigned, he needs to appear. You know where I'm going with this. Cena invokes his rematch clause and faces Orton in the main event. Trips intervenes, Cena wins by DQ, Bryan makes the save but the number games reign supreme. Cena and Bryan get beat down with an injury angle worked in on John Cena and the night ends with our new heels in the ring and line in the sand playing on the overhead!

As for the enforcer role, plenty of options are out there. Big E., Titus O'Neil, Ryback even.

I'd love for Punk to get involved, setting up the indie guys versus the glass ceiling protectors. But he will likely feud with Heyman and Axel. I'm thinking Bryan/Cena vs. HHH/Orton and Punk/Lesnar 2 at Survivor Series.
