For the two people wondering "whatever happened to Todd Pettingil?" He's on the TV show "Dish Nation" via his radio show in New York.

From what I hear his radio show does solid ratings and is very popular.

- The Wrestling Observer reports that one of the reasons 'some women' have quit TNA Wrestling in the past year stems from the belief that Bruce Prichard, Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations, is not in favor of women's wrestling. This would also explain why the Knockouts division is not as given as much prominence as in the past, with only a few talents being highlighted.

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky reportedly left the promotion on their own accord and the roles of Mickie James, Rosita, Sarita and Winter were greatly curtailed after Prichard came into power last October.

Wow. Way to take one of the best things your company has and one of the few things that really makes you stand out from your competition and just **** it up.

wheres tony schivvone?

Schiavone works one of the post game game talk show's on the Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network for home and away games alongside former University of Georgia quarterback David Greene.

That's the last I've heared about him I don't know if he's still doing that.

Anyway Triple H is responsible for the new attention being given to the tag team division. “The Game” is making sure that the company is getting serious about tag teams and it is expected to be one of the highlights of WWE TV by year’s end. The company is said to have big plans for the Divas division as well.

I really hope this is true because WWE really needs to restructure both the Tag Division and the Diva Division.

Mick Foley on RAW. Great segment.
[YT]rHI2d2EHDhA[/YT]

Brilliant promo between Foley and Punk, it actually made sense and touched on logical issues with Punk's heel turn, unlike the promo later on in the link from Cena that was essentially a load of BS before Punk destroyed him on the mic and they had their #1 face hit him with a pipe.

The Ryback bit was...well lets just say I'd pay Foley what he wants to face Punk in the Cell.

I remember Livewire used to be enjoyable. I haven't seen or heard anything about Todd since he left WWF.

I've been hoping we'd get a serious promo from Foley since his return. I love his sense of humor and enjoy both sides of his promo work but this is what was needed. It's a shame the majority of the roster wouldn't be able to keep up with him (on the mic).

Also the promo added an interesting dimension. I could see them posssibly planting seeds for Heyman ( with Lesnar) to betray Punk. That could set up a blockbuster match for next year.

The rest was amusing but I don't think Ryback is ready for a main event match at Hell in the Cell. I think they'll manage to rush Cena back in the nick of time. At some point Cena will break down and by the end of next year they'll be looking for his replacement.

He looked up for it, and looked to be building to a match between the two, which, I must say, I definitely want to see.

- WWE officials are still going forward with the Network. News came out this week that Vince is looking to open up talks regarding launching the Network in Europe also.

- The latest word on WrestleMania 30 in 2014 is that Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York City are in the running as hosts. WWE has outgrown arenas for WrestleMania but since 1, 10 and 20 took place at Madison Square Garden, some in the company are pushing the idea of jacking up ticket prices really high to return there for 30. Another downside to running at MSG would put WrestleMania in the same market two years in a row.

- Regarding Beth Phoenix leaving WWE, it's believed she is just mentally finished with the promotion and the start-and-stop pushes that happen in the Divas division.

One source close to the Divas division believes that Beth isn't the only Diva on her way out of the company as one other may be quitting soon.

- On Wednesday's edition of TNA Today, Bobby Roode discusses his return to Impact Wrestling, what he did during his hiatus, and the Bound for Glory Series unfolding. He also addresses his former tag team partner, James Storm.

I do not know.. from what I remember Foley could barely move around in the ring in the last match I watched him in. The King moves around like a man 1/3rd Foley's age in the ring. It would probably be a pretty sad match.

I feel the WWE want all their women gone, expect one or two for a sexy flavour.

It might if Punk doesn't win it back before Royal Rumble as I definitely do not want to see Rock vs Cena at RR. That kind of match, if there needs to be one, should be at WrestleMania(but even then, I am betting on a triple threat match for the WWE title with Rock/Cena/Punk).

It would also be the worst thing if Cena wins the title back and reveals the new belt.

uh As much as I hate Cena I wouldn't mind if he wins the title faces the Rock at RR loses the title to the Rock and faces Punk at WM. I'd rather see Punk vs. Rock at WM rather than him vs. Rock at RR because if it goes that way that just means we will see Cena vs. Rock at WM rather than the RR. Because lets face it Cena doesn't need a win vs. the Rock he's already as over as he's going to get unless he does. But if Punk gets the rub over the Rock it will be the biggest victory of his career in the WWE.

:hrt: Yes please. I've missed her.

This ones for my boy Superark! :D

What about me? :argh:

For the two people wondering "whatever happened to Todd Pettingil?" He's on the TV show "Dish Nation" via his radio show in New York.

I'd take Pettingil back over Cole NOW. No joke.

Wow. Way to take one of the best things your company has and one of the few things that really makes you stand out from your competition and just **** it up.

If true it makes some sense. A lot lot of the most poular KO's are MIA from tv and even for the post Hogan era we've seen little time for the division. Prichards also a WWE guy and McMahons never cared much for womens wrestling for a long period.

:doh: The women don't get the platform to showcase who they are. hell the good ones don't even get mic time unless its in an awful embaressing storyline. AJ could have been much more than she is right now.

These women DO get the platform...the one or two of them that actually DO appear on tv once every couple of weeks to to take orders from Brooke Hogan

Its a rough time for womens wrestling in both big promotions. The women in TNA need to go directly rto Dixie Carter. She at elast seems willing to listen to the female talent and as a woman might have empathy. Stephanies just like her dad so women in WWE are doomed. Even if she stuck up for the women he'd still say no.

Lots of frustrated ladies in both companies. Id say the grass is always greener but seems like its dying on both sides of the fence. Beth could go to TNA and get a short burst of interest from managment simply for jumping ship.

2012 WWE SummerSlam PPV Buyrate Revealed - Did Lesnar vs. Triple H Help?

By Marc Middleton on 09/27/2012

- According to new data released by WWE, the 2012 SummerSlam pay-per-view was a huge success with 350,000 worldwide pay-per-view buys. This breaks down to 264,000 North American buys but just 86,000 international. This is the most successful SummerSlam since 2008.

75% of the buys coming from North America indicates that Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H was the reason. Lesnar's main drawing power from his UFC days was big in the US and Canada but little international.

In comparison, the 2011 SummerSlam pay-per-view did 180,000 North American buys and 131,000 international buys for a total of 311,000. Last year was headlined by CM Punk vs. John Cena with Triple H as referee and Randy Orton vs. Christian.

Glad to see things have worked for Lesnar just the way he wanted. I love the irony of it all. I really do. I hope for him to face off against Rock and Undertaker again soon. Maybe Sheamus too.

uh As much as I hate Cena I wouldn't mind if he wins the title faces the Rock at RR loses the title to the Rock and faces Punk at WM. I'd rather see Punk vs. Rock at WM rather than him vs. Rock at RR because if it goes that way that just means we will see Cena vs. Rock at WM rather than the RR. This 100%. With Austin out of the picture, Rock Vs. Punk is the next best option to main event WM 29 plus I think Punk deserves the rub from the Rock more than Cena does.

Shaul Guerrero, who went under the name Raquel Diaz in WWE's NXT developmental territory in Florida, asked and was granted her release from the company this week according to a report by The Wrestling Observer.

Imagine how much sooner she would of requested her release had Batista still been working there. I just imagine his pick up line would be "Let's do it for Eddie".

hoping linda loses again so they can forget about it, she'll never get in anyway

Hopefully this will be the end of it. God help us if she wins.

Even IF/when she loses and IF decides not to run anymore..There's still a chance Vince will decide to keep WWE like how it is now or even worse IF Linda returns to WWE!
