UPDATE: PWInsider reported that it was in fact a Twitter error on WWE's part - Kharma has NOT been released.

Thank god, hopefully she shows up soon.

- As noted before, the July 9th WWE RAW Supershow scored a 3.17 cable rating with 4.42 million viewers.

In the segment breakdown, the opener with AJ Lee, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan with Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger lost 74,000 viewers. Christian and Tyson Kidd vs. Tensai and Dolph Ziggler plus the Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler angle lost 416,000 viewers. Brodus Clay vs. Drew McIntyre plus the Stephanie McMahon video promoting the 1,000th RAW gained 102,000 viewers.

Kane and John Cena vs. Chris Jericho and Big Show gained 66,000 viewers, a low gain for that time period in the show. The match did about a gain of 280,000 at 10pm, which is lower than usual, but then lost those viewers when the match went longer and through a second commercial break.

Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater and the return of Bob Backlund lost 21,000 viewers. Lawler vs. Cole and the reveal of Hornswoggle as the Anonymous General Manager lost another 21,000 viewers.

It appears AJ's tease from earlier that she would be leaving with her future husband did the trick as far as the rating goes. The overrun following AJ and Punk vs. Daniel Bryan and Eve Torres gained 711,000 viewers - which is normal but it should be noted that this was done without John Cena in the segment and with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, who have never moved ratings big.

There was a huge increase in Male Teens watching the overrun that wasn't there for the rest of the show. Male Teens hovered between a 2.7 and 3.2 rating for the entire show but jumped up to a 4.4 rating for the overrun.

It appears it's the wedding gimmick that helped ratings since AJ, Punk nor Bryan made ratings jump in the Male Teens demographic during their opening interview segment or during any other week in this storyline.

As we have been reporting, Alberto Del Rio is expected to receive a big WWE push this year, and The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the push is due to a number of reasons.

One is that Del Rio has publicly said, a number of times, that he does not plan on wrestling for many more years, so WWE wants to take advantage of him sooner rather than later.

Additionally, it's being said that WWE's other top Mexican wrestlers, like Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio, carry a lot of baggage with them, so Alberto Del Rio is a go-to guy that has a lot of backstage leverage and will be taken care of accordingly.

Glad they're getting this match out of the way.

Psychology is so hard to learn these days; you can’t really teach it. Psychology is storytelling; it’s knowing when to do a certain move as opposed to not doing it; how to make that first person in the front row… there’s always someone out in the arena that does not want to be there, that hates pro wrestling and can’t stand it, that doesn’t believe in it, he’s only there because of their kids; they’re only there to see John Cena or someone like that. And that’s my job, that’s who I pick; there is always one and I’ll find them. I’ll look for them and I’ll work my whole match to get around this one individual, whether it be female or male. And towards the end of the match, they are on their feet and you can actually see something in their eyes change like "wow, this guy made me a believer", then my job is done right.

I think that's why I stayed a wrestling fan for most of my life. Despite the politics and stupid filler segments, professional wrestling is an art.

Oh Stone Cold:

Since he's stuck making low budget movies, this is actually a step up for him.

Dear TNA:

You've been doing a lot of things very well lately. Please make this A.J. Styles/baby daddy storyline go away.

Thanks so much!

Sincerely,

OnTheAir

PS: Take that Bubba/Joseph Parks story away too!

LOL

I'm not going to lie...as absurd as that storyline is, Bubba and Abyss appear to be having such a good time with it that I've found myself enjoying it too!

Chris Parks is a talentless hack in my opinion.

TNA continues to give me what I want out of wrestling week after week.

Just tuned into Impact. I'm going to catch up on what I missed on the DVR later.

I LOVE Sting's facepaint! He's done a great job blending his Joker paint with his old's Crow paint.

Roode vs Aries in a non-title match next week?! :awesome:

I sincerely hope DH Smith ends up being a part of the Aces and 8's

Cool as it will be, they're putting their PPV match on free tv already? I hope they have a stipulation planned for the Hardcore Justice match.

Agreed. Actual wrestling matches on a wrestling show. Who knew?

It's crazy, why would they do such a thing?:p

It makes sense. Roode wants a piece of Aries and to beat him to show that it was a fluke. He doesn't want to wait till Hardcore Justice, but since Hogan said he can call anyone out on Open Fight Night, he can at least get his hands on Aries to try to prove his point and weaken Aries in the process.

It's logical that a champion would be so pissed off that he would want to beat up the guy who just took his title.

I think it'll build some intrigue if booked correctly.

I know I'm a little late for this, but with all the TNA talk going around:

*SPOILERS** WWE NXT Taping Results; The NXT Title Tournament

By Andy Steven on 07/12/2012

World Wrestling Entertainment taped three more episodes of NXT Thursday night from the campus of Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Thanks to WrestlingNewsWorld.com for the following results:

Jim Ross, William Regal, and Byron Saxton arrived for commentary.

Dark match

* Alex Riley defeated Antonio Cesaro w/Aksana via the TKO.

Episode 1

* A video is shown featuring the participants in the NXT title tournament. They are Bo Dallas, Richie Steamboat, Jinder Mahal, Tyler Reks, Drew McIntyre, Michael McGillicutty and Justin Gabriel

* Richie Steamboat defeated Leo Kruger with the Sling Blade to advance in the tournament.

* Big E. Langston squashed Adam Mercer.

* Raquel Diaz defeated Audrey Marie via Gory Bomb. After, Raquel drew an L on Audrey’s forehead with lipstick.

* Mike Dalton & Jason Jordan defeated Hunico & Camacho via Dalton countering Hunico tossing Dalton in the air towards Camacho for a powerbomb attempt, but Dalton countered the powerbomb with a hurricanrana pinfall.

* Seth Rollins defeated Drew McIntyre via the Blackout to advance to the semifinals of the tournament.

Episode 2

* Michael McGillicutty defeated Justin Gabriel via McGuillicutter to advance to the semifinals in the tournament.

* Kassius Ohno defeated CJ Parker via Rolling Elbow.

* Jinder Mahal defeated Bo Dallas via Camel Clutch to advance in the tournament.

Episode 3

* Paige & Tamina Snuka defeated Kaitlyn & Kaylee Turner via Small Package by Paige on Kaylee.

* Heath Slater came out to issue an open challenge which was answered by Orlando’s own Scotty Too Hotty

* Scotty Too Hotty defeated Heath Slater via The Worm.

* The Usos beat Kenneth Cameron & Conor O’Brian by DQ when Conar pushed one of the Usos of the top rope to the floor when he wasn’t the legal man. After, they hit Total Elimination on the other Uso.

* Jinder Mahal defeated Richie Steamboat via Camel Clutch to advance to the finals of the tournament.

* Seth Rollins defeated Michael McGillicutty via Blackout to advance to the finals of the NXT Championship Tournament.

* Afterwards, Jinder Mahal came out and stared at Rollins. Dusty came out and said the finals are set as Jinder attempted to attack Rollins but Rollins got the upperhand.

* Kane defeated Cody Rhodes via Chokeslam. Kane appeared to have tweaked his knee at some point during the match.

Notes

* Next taping is July 26th featuring the NXT Champion being crowned in a match between Seth Rollins & Jinder Mahal.

* Commentary did not seem to be going on for Kane/Cody so I’d assume that’s a dark match for the live crowd. Slater/Scotty might be as well seeing as Scotty is from here, but they may end up airing it due to the reception he received.

* Due to the way they have been airing the episodes, some matches may be on at different points than I am thinking they will air between the three. There is no real distinguishable stop time between episodes so I apologize if it is not 100% accurate.

^ Well, that was a FAIL.

I missed Impact,What are your highlights of the episode?

There's been some talk that one of the Bella Twins recently got a boob job, I guess this pic proves it...

I'll take the one on the right :woot:.

For goodness sake, I thought Sandler couldn't sink any lower and now he's making Grown Ups 2. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

This is a huge step up for Austin but Sandler is on the decline.

I might order Money in the Bank. My gf's oldest daughter is a Cena fan and has been obsessing over it. It doesn't seem like a bad card. I just hope something interesting happens with the RAW MITB.
