The first three NXT matches were very botchy. I wonder if the guys were nervous.

The last three match ups were the best.

Murphy and Blake have some potential.

Baron Corbin vs. Bull Dempsey. Both these guys came off looking green still.

I don't know why Vinnie Mac hates women's wrestling so much because if he allowed talented Divas to do a fatal fourway like that on Raw it might actual draw ratings.

Sasha with a Double knee drop on Charlotte and Becky like a Boss.

Kevin Owens pulled an Ivan Drago on Sami Zayne's Apollo Creed. People in the crowd looked like they were thinking "stop, stop, his already dead".

I think Kevin Owens and Paul Heyman should pair up once Owens is on the main roster. Brock isn't sticking around forever and I think these two would make a great pairing. Heyman was tweeting about Owens as well.

I saw Noelle Foley in the NXT crowd.

I think the storytelling on NXT is great. Simple straight forward stoylines. On the main roster they sometimes over complicate things or make things too unfocused.

Bull Dempsey is NEVER going to be anything in WWE. I felt it after his first match.

When the crowd was chanting S*** after every Bull on his entrance music I realized he was done for. He will probably be in TNA (aka Purgatory) within six months.

I really enjoyed NXT Takeover: Rival last night! I wasn't crazy about the tag title match or the Corbin/Dempsey match, but I thought everything else was good-to-great!

The women's title match was great...I marked hard for Sasha's title win...she impresses me every time I see her. Talented in the ring and good character work.

The video package prior to the championship match was awesome...it told the Zayn/Owens story perfectly!

Sami's beating at the hands of Owens takes him off of tv for the next few weeks, since he apparently will miss tonight's NXT tapings to join the WWE tour in Abu Dhabi.

Sure Bayley is no Mark Jindrak Stacey Keibler, but I know that kind of face, and she would look totally different with a different hairstyle. Give her kind of a swooshy bob that drapes over her cheeks and frames her face better, and dress her in Paige's clothes, and you guys would be creeping all over her like she was Renee Young. Not sure if she's going to go for that then, though.

Ok, so I'm the only one that really doesn't "get" Sasha then?

My thing with Sasha is she good in-ring, has a cool gimmick and attire, and she can cut a solid promo. I'd put Bayley in this class as well. because she has her gimmick down and has her own awesome attire as well as the ring work.

Ok So KENTA vs Breeze, not the most innovative match but the psychology was pretty good and it's fun watching KENTA kick the crap out of somebody.

So Dempsey vs Corbin.....Eh, ok for what it was I guess

Tag match was better than anything on Raw but still a bit all over the place

Helluva match between Balor and Neville

Divas match was kinda rough at times but still hella entertaining and once again, better than anything on Raw

Steen and Zayn....great beatdown and Sami sold the hell out of it. I'm interested is where this angle goes from here

So overall Despite this Takeover special being different, I still had a real good time watching it and it looks to still make Mania look like an Impact episode

The New Beginning in Osaka was great! Somewhat underwhelming by modern NJPW standards, but better than most other companies' shows. Excited for the Sendai show. Styles/Tanahashi was great, but that had a lot to do with Tana getting busted open VERY hard way. It's actually my least favorite of their 3 matches.

Also, WHY THE **** DID GOTO AND SHIBATA DROP THE TITLES BACK TO ANDERSON AND GALLOWS??!!!!! Such a WWE move, Jado & Gedo!!
