So, are these returns permanent or just for NXT, because I can't take being teased like that with 2 favorites.

This made Sasha Banks my favorite womens wrestler. Lynch also won me over last night tossing chicks around like that.

Charlotte is tall and a bit butch, plus she kinda looks a little rough and trailery IMO.

She's certainly talented, and absolutely deserves the opportunity to be with the main roster. I just can't look at her without seeing her father. Then I feel compelled to take two steps forward before falling directly on my face.

Bullet Club of Anderson and Gallows vs. The Addiction vs. The Kingdom added to ROH's 13th Anniversary! ROH is pulling out all the stops for this show.

Nice Reading the NXT Tapings

A Rhino return and plus a Finn Balor vs. Brain Kendrick match

Maybe Rhino could be involved with NXT as a trainer?

Finally watched the NXT PPV. That Womens match stole the show. I don't think I've ever been that into a womens match before.

Renee Young interviews "The Boss" after her title victory:

I like Alexa Bliss. I think she's the hottest girl in NXT by far.
Agreed.

Alexa is fine :hrt:
NXT Spoilers
Not going to lie, I mark out for Blue Pants :)
- There are people within WWE who are high on former NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte but she also has people who are negative on bringing her to the main roster, according to The Wrestling Observer. The negativity may have to do with some people having their vision of what a WWE Diva should look like and Charlotte not fitting the supermodel image. Charlotte is still expected to be brought to the main roster soon.

I fear for Charlotte on the main roster. Look at Natalya who is a talented restless but got stuck with a flatulence gimmick.

Vinnie mac is never going to change his opinion on women's wrestling just like he will never lose his big muscle man fetish.
Also Layla.
Layla is Spanish/Moroccan.
Charlotte looks as much like Ric as Steph looks like Vince.

Try unseeing that ****. :wow:

Yep, Charlotte looks too much like her dad.

WWE NXT Tapings Results (4 Weeks)

WWE taped 4 weeks of NXT TV on Thursday night from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Thanks to Tom M. for the results:

– Chad Gable of Shoot Nation defeated Digg Rawlis in the dark match.

February 18th episode:

– NXT General Manager William Regal appears on the big screen for a promo. He announces Adrian Neville vs. NXT Champion Kevin Owens in a non-title match.

– Kevin Owens comes out and there are dueling chants for he and Sami Zayn, who is not here. Owens says Finn Balor can ask for his title match whenever he wants it.

– Rhino made his return to WWE and got a big pop. He defeated Elias Samson with a Gore and the crowd was on fire.

– Finn Balor cut a backstage promo on Kevin Owens. Rhino walks past him and smirks.

– Big Cass and Enzo Amore defeated The Vaudevillians. Blake and Murphy appeared on the big screen and cut a promo hitting on Carmella, then trashing Enzo and Cass.

– CJ Parker came to the ring and said he was taking the show hostage. He starts putting yellow emergency tape on the ring but Solomon Crowe made his debut, attacking Parker and taking him out.

– Sasha Banks made Blue Pants tap out and then cut a promo challenging anyone to come after her title.

– Kevin Owens defeated Adrian Neville in a non-title match with a powerbomb. This was said to be better than the Takeover main event.

February 25th episode:

– Hideo Itami defeated Bull Dempsey with a jumping kick. Tyler Breeze attacks Hideo on the stags and lays him out. Breeze takes a selfie over Hideo with a selfie stick. Hideo jumps back up and leaves Breeze laying.

– Sin Cara and Kalisto defeated Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger when Jordan walked out on his partner.

– Dillinger is upset and cuts a promo, apparently issues an open challenge. Baron Corbin comes out and squashes him in seconds.

– Becky Lynch defeated Bayley by submission.

– The Brian Kendrick vs. Finn Balor is next. Balor gets the win with the top rope stomp. Kevin Owens watched from the announce desk and after the match, he tossed Alex Riley over the desk to a big pop.

March 4th episode:

– Adam Rose comes out to a big pop but lost to Tyler Breeze. Breeze then fought off the Rosebuds, using his selfie stick like a sword.

– Blake and Murphy vs. Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins of Shoot Nation is next. Blake and Murphy get the non-title win.

– Baron Corbin squashed Tony Briggs while Kevin Owens was intimidating Alex Riley at the announce desk.

– Owens starts trying to fight the announcers. Riley is being held back by Jason Albert. Riley wants to fight as Riley taunts him.

March 11th episode:

– Solomon Crowe vs. Bull Dempsey is next. Crowe wins with his snap off the ropes splash. This may have been the end of the third episode of the first match on the fourth.

– Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte to retain the NXT Women’s Title. Sasha had her feet on the ropes. Sasha countered a Natural Selection off the ropes to get the pin.

– Big Cass and Enzo come out to cut a promo on The Lucha Dragons before their match, saying they’re more like the Geico Lizards and there’s about to be an accident. Enzo and Cass defeated Sin Cara and Kalisto to a huge reaction from the crowd.

– Alexa Bliss defeated Carmella after a move off the top rope.

– Alex Riley comes out to a huge pop for a match against CJ Parker. Riley was said to be impressive with a beautiful dropkick and a spinning neckbreaker. He went to the top for the Blockbuster and got the win.

– Kevin Owens comes out and says Riley is the dumbest man in WWE. Owens says he will end Riley’s career before ending Finn Balor.

– Tyler Breeze vs. Hideo Itami is next. Breeze gets the win with a Beauty Shot. This was the end of the tapings as Hideo recovered and was high-fiving fans at ringside.

- WWE's website has a new poll asking fans who impressed more in last night's Tag Team Turmoil Match - Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan. With over 5,000 votes, Bryan is leading with 55%.

And this is the frustrating thing and why I fear women may never get their due in WWE, at least not any time soon. Because the people in power at WWE don't want female wrestlers, they want "Divas," pouting supermodels they can put in photoshoots or in their crappy reality shows. They don't want wrestlers, at most they need a baseline of wrestling competence so WWE can go through the motions of giving them matches. And those matches are positioned to fail, not just because they tend to feature supermodels who can't wrestle, but due to the lame build-up, the disinterested commentary, everything they can to encourage dead crowds and train the audience not to take women's wrestling seriously. So even in the off-chance that WWE were able to give us a great Diva's match, the crowd might be so numbed to women's wrestling they may not even notice it.

It's not gonna happen any time soon, but I think if WWE really wants to expand its demographic, a great way to do that would be to nurture a diverse, robust roster of female talent, filled not just with talented athletes, but characters and personalities, and actual storylines beyond, "I'm the prettiest," or "You're sleeping with my boyfriend."

Admittedly I'm a poor judge, but I think Charlotte is a good-looking woman, and one that a lot of men would find appealing (she needs to tighten up her core a bit, but that's a training issue that can easily be resolved). That she is less pretty than, say, Emma for instance, just means she can play the female equivalent of the "monster heel." Not being as pretty as Candice Michelle didn't hurt Beth Phoenix's career, so I don't know what the deal is with Charlotte.

The main issue with Charlotte is what I call the "Lita problem." That's when you have a big, strong, athletic and rangy girl, who is trained to wrestle like a male cruiserweight rather than a larger-than-average woman. It screws up the ring psychology and storytelling a bit when the bigger girl is faster and more acrobatic than her smaller opponent (i.e. when Lita wrestled against smaller divas who were actually slower and less athletic than she was). It's like if Brock Lesnar wrestled Dolph Ziggler and Lesnar started doing all the flippy **** in the ring, it just wouldn't work (also why Lesnar vs Reigns 1-on-1 wouldn't work).

Did anyone here enjoy Bryan's performance on SD last night?

He was unleashing "The Dragon" on the Usos to hilariously violent levels :funny:

He was pulling out more moves and he was kicking like he was KENTA when the Usos were wrestling him.

I think the model type divas who can't wrestle should be valets and managers while the rest should be the main wrestlers they build the division around.

Agreed. If only the VD connection (Vince and Dunn) saw it that way too.

It really irritates how creatively stifling the division has become on Raw all because of a dumb TV show Dunn produces.

When I see Charlotte I see Naitch. But I can easily get past that because she is a damn good wrestler in the ring and in the end that's what I want. I'm not watching wrestling for the pretty women (not that it hurts) I'm watching it for the spectacle that is pro wrestling. So as long as she's damn good in the ring, that's all I need and she should be on the main roster by the time WM rolls around.

It's almost sad to think that if you're a female wrestler and you've always wanted to make it to the WWE and show off your talent, then you're been off staying in development to do it.

I agree with the sentiment, but then you are missing out on potentially discovering the next Trish Stratus.

In my view, Trish was not a great technical wrestler, not even during her own era and not even by diva standards, but anyone who could look like her and carry a match from beginning to end is like the holy grail of a female wrestler. And you're more likely to find that by taking a model and training her up rather than taking someone from the indies and trying to make her more attractive.

I don't think the issue is even really about missing out on the "next Trish Stratus." It's that ever once Trish & Lita left, the women have been given less to work with than ever before. People forget how those two women became so popular in the first place - it wasn't because they were putting on great in-ring performances, but rather, they were often associated with male talents & hot angles where they interacted with men on a regular basis.

The women very rarely get those types of opportunities any more and they exist almost entirely separate from the men on the roster. The PG rating of the product and societal political correctness have also made many types of angles very difficult to put on TV now (and thank god for it in many ways). But who's the most recent woman to have a truly prominent role on WWE TV that was regularly involved with male talent in recent years? AJ Lee.

AJ was involved in high-profile storylines with Bryan, Punk, Ziggler & Cena and it raised her stock in the eyes of the fans. She was important by association. That's how main roster female talents have generally garnered the biggest followings, not because of their ring prowess. Sure, there are a few exceptions, but those are pretty much of a bygone era. Vince has very rarely gotten a Diva truly over by simply letting them wrestle.

All that being said, I do think that casual fans would take to female talents when it comes to their in-ring work and athletic rivalries. I think Ronda Rousey is a great example of why people would buy legit female athletes. But it will take time and long-term commitment to make it happen, and that's not something Vince has ever been known to have.
