WWE? Definitely? CHIKARA? Maybe...Then, that was 10 years ago.

I just watched that match the other night. At this rate Ishii might just edge out Nakemura as my favorite New Japan guy. After reading up on his career, it's great to see him getting the props he deserves. I'll be very disappointed if he isn't going after at least the IC belt next year.

I'd say that was the program that really got her over with the crowd. She really landed on her feet with that gig, ecspecially with two of the most popular guys on the roster.

Without a doubt, AJ got over before she actually started wrestling regularly, and she was lucky that Bryan, Punk and even Kane were willing to give over so much TV time to her and even take a goofy bump or two.

And probably most importantly, Punk was extremely beat up & the passion for the business wasn't there.

Ironically Punk finally giving up the fight affected the biggest change to date.

 I expect him to have a big presence in the G1 this year.

WWE has lost a lot of steam post Wrestlemania 30 hype. The problem is these weak uninteresting storylines currently. I mean Bryan feuding with Kane for the 15th time is MEH. Like Mick Foley posted on Facebook storylines like the one Bryan is currently in is what killed and buried Zack Ryder's brief push. I didn't even watch Raw live since 24 is back on. They need to do something to amp it up before they lose all steam going into summers slam.

Angle's injured again. Will be out 4-6 months. I'll give you a moment to act surprised.

Angle is starting to get to Mysterio's level when it comes to getting injured. Geez!

He got ******** that he wasn't going to be in the Wrestlemania main event so decided to take his ball and go home.

Can you blame him? The guy was getting fu**ed over since day one. A man can only handle so much BS!

Tomorrow...

Seeing him on that poster got me thinking.... what the hell did TNA have against Jay Lethal?

First, he managed to get over just as a no-gimmick X-Division guy ignored by the bookers. After standout matches against Jeff Jarrett and Samoa Joe where he was supposed to just lose, but managed to get the crowd behind him, there seemed to be real potential to push him as a babyface.

Then that classic Vince Russo booking lumbered him with the Black Machismo gimmick. Seeing Lethal get that gimmick, it seemed like TNA's scummy inside-baseball type booking, where "creative" was playing a rib on Lethal by giving him a Macho Man gimmick, as if they were HOPING people would mock him. But against all odds, Lethal made it work. Despite never being thought of as having charisma, he really sold that character, and shockingly ended up as one of the most over babyfaces on the roster. Then they stuck him with some truly wretched, heat-killing storylines, and yet still Black Machismo remained over and Lethal kept having good matches.

Then, when it seemed like Black Machismo wasn't doing the job of killing Lethal's career, they switched him over to... I can't remember, was it a Ric Flair impersonator gimmick? And even though they stripped him of a gimmick he'd against the odds managed to get over with, Lethal then also made the Nature Boy gimmick kinda work as well.

Then TNA abruptly release the guy because "creative has nothing for him."

So apparently Bo Dallas will be debuting on next week's Smackdown.

I thought that was somewhat odd for a bit, but it makes a little more sense when I think about it more... since they can dub in boos or cheers, it will help establish right away what alignment the want Bo to portray to the audience. Now, the better question is how do you debut the guy?

I think you need to put him against an established midcard face, and the only ones that make much sense are Ziggler, Henry, or Sheamus. The only reason I think Sheamus is an option is because they might put the title on Bo in a fluke win situation... but really, who knows what WWE is thinking? It will be intriguing to see how they handle him.

What an idiot (Dixie Carter):

Dixie Carter Takes Shot at Jim Ross

Dixie Carter took a shot at WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross on Twitter earlier today when a Jim Ross parody account asked who she and John Gaburick will screw over next now that Chris Sabin is gone.

"It's official, Chris Sabin is gone from @IMPACTWRESTLING. Who will @TNADixie and @JohnGaburick screw over next? (Besides the few fans)"

The TNA President responded:

"@WWEJimRoss @JohnGaburick it's official. You know as little as the real JR."

Agreed. I reckon it will be quite a while before any other Diva is fortunate enough to have an opportunity like that, that AJ did.

What an idiot (Dixie Carter):

That's funny coming from someone whose company will be dead in a ditch and whose name will never be as memorable or as beloved as Jim Ross' is. She sucks.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s insane Armbar transition on Kurt Angle.

tna really overuses the Low Bridge rope spot

not a shock, but impact was crap again this week, mvp's heel turn was so tortuously obvious, not to mention knox's garbage new stable

Dixie Carter is an ignorant ***** who probably doesn't like Ross because her boy Vinny Ru hates him. Oh, and Ross gives constructive criticism to TNA.

The NXT Divas seem to have much more freedom in the moves they are allowed to use, I thought this weeks matches both delivered and Alexa Bliss had a promising debut.

I also dug Kalisto's debut, one of the more exciting fliers I've seen in a while.

The battle royal main event was solid and I was glad to see Baron Corbin get some shine. Nice work on the finish and I'm looking forward to the Kidd/Zayn/Breeze triple threat next week.

In fairness to AJ she absolutely knocked her chance out of the park, but I agree that it's not likely we'll see another Diva get that kind of chance anytime soon.

If they book him right, Kalisto could be a top, international commodity for WWE. Plus, the rematch potential between him and Zayn. Just sayin'....;)

I enjoyed The Shield getting singles matches on SD, I hope this means WWE are considering doing singles matches against Evolution at Payback.

Ambrose vs Sheamus was the best of the 3 IMO and Ambrose continues to shine surprisingly as a face. Loved the selling from Reigns and Henry in their match. Rollins vs Batista was good and they showed potential for a longer match down the line, but man do the fans hate Batista.

Sage is gonna collapse from either Layla's body in that outfit or that sugar she gave Fandango!

Good rematch between Rusev and Kofi, that spinning slam looked great.

Solid six man tag main event, I notice they didn't show any of Cena's tired sounding promo from Main Event. The Usos really are a lot of fun to watch and I liked big Harper picking up the win with that Tornado Lariat.

Good, straight forward pro wrasslin show.

Oooh, I'm going to have to check this show out on HD when it arrives in Hulu Plus tomorrow. :D

Absolutely. But it would still be nice to see some of the other girls get the kind of chance she was given.

This, and he wasn't "********" about main eventing Wrestlemania, because it's publicly out there in interviews with him before he left, that he knows this is Bryan's time and there's no way he'd **** with that, but because he knew he'd be getting fed to HHH at Mania because his contract was almost up, and it was a match that wouldn't have mattered in the long run.

Lexi Kaufman :hrt: I mentioned awhile ago she will be a star and I'm sticking to it. She's got charisma, and obviously the looks.

Apparently, her, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks were used as HHH's "wenchs" or whatever you want to call them when he did his entrance at Wrestlemania this year.

Plus CM Punk lost every high profile he was in. And the direction of the company at that point was looking kind of dismal.

I don't see why Punk couldn't have beaten HHH at Mania, and then faced Bryan in his last match, and go out putting the new champion over. It's a match up that I think a lot of people would've wanted to see, especially with both Bryan and CM Punk at true main-event status. And in Chicago too? Hot crowd, two former indy darlings now big superstars, and potential 4 to 5 star classic? Come on man...
