Hmm....

Some people have an idea where if she's not chasing the title, Becky should be a part of the Bullet/Balor Club.

Sucks about Balls Mahoney. Was always a fan of his. He had a great moment with Vince during the who's Vince son storyline. Not sure if that moment ever made tv but the gist was him saying something along lines of Face it Vince, you have Balls. And Vince responding Dammit I don't have any Balls. This of course lead the entire MSG crowd to start chanting at Vince "You have no balls" for like 15 minutes :lmao:. One of my favorite shows that I went to.

I bet it's Jabbar with that idea and especially if the club turns heel

Tucker Knight might need a makeover if he wants to move up.. Dude looked like he was an enhancement guy from the early 90s.

He looks like the sad love child of Al Snow and Kronus.

With Lucha Underground split into seasons, it gives Rey Mysterio significant rest.

By rest, I bet you're thinking about a wwe return but yeah. Season 3 is already half way filmed and so he's going to get months of rest.

After filming, he won't get paid until promotional stuff starts for season 3 and so he's already booked for AAA in Mexico for extra work but still plenty of rest compared to a wwe schedule

By rest, I mean "getting his knees in great shape"

That was a major issue he had when he was in WWE.

He's at his best than he's been in years, so I'm guessing his knees are much better.

Paige would work better. Becky has a clear direction, Paige doesn't. They've wanted to put Paige with the Wyatt's for a while now but she would only languish in that position because the Wyatt's themselves lack a clear direction too. The Bullet Club fits her style more.

I've fallen behind on ROH, 3 weeks. Can someone fill me in please?

Dalton Castle settled his feud with Silas Young in a fight without honor.

The Briscoes are going to challenge War Machine for the tag belts

Donavan Djack put Truth in the hospital and joined Prince Nana

What's left of the kingdom is exploding

Global Wars/war of the worlds is coming up

Lio Rush had a damn good match with Lethal

Colt Cabana came back and challenged Lethal

For reasons beyond my comprehension, the Corino/Whitmer feud is still ongoing.

I think that covers most of it.

Bray got hurt in a match with Reigns last night at the house show in Italy...they had to stop the fight and take him to the back.

WWE acknowledged it on their site too....he could miss a few months.....whats with all these injurites recently?? too much work load maybe?

Watched a video.. Reigns wasn't at fault either. Wyatt was pushing him into a turnbuckle and it look like his calf just buckled. I'd say they're just completely over worked.

I dunno if it was posted here or not but the overseas schedule is just insane. Then they have to fly back to America for Raw and SD.

Vince needs to cut some damn slack on the schedule

They're on the road 300 days out of the year. that has to take its toll on their bodies...they barely rest...its not a lifestyle i would want to have

The sad thing is, things were way worse back in the day. Listen to Flair or Piper tell stories about how they would do two shows in a day, or during a holiday, simply because it was the only way to get paid back then.

But at the same time, it's a form of entertainment, and I feel like they're holding themselves to the same standard that Broadway performers do, which is you work almost all year long. The problem is, they're also on the Sports scene, and they need to account for that physical labor as well.

Flair and Piper probably didnt take as many bumps in both shows, as today's guys take in 1 show tho. They did a lot of slow down lay on the mat spots back then. That is almost out of the business today.

Does anybody know how much of WWE's profits come from house shows?

Good point, there was a much different style.

Still, it's crazy to see just how many of the big names from the 80's and early 90's are dead now. I don't have all the info at hand or off the top of my head, but didn't most of the guys die from heart attacks or heart failures. I wonder if it was the mix of the workload and use of painkillers (possible abuse) that contributed to it. I'm still shocked that Hogan has outlasted just about all of them though.

Yep. The modern style of wrestling is different.

Wrestlers are a lot more athletic these days and there are a lot more bumps.

WWE needs to think of about lighting the schedule. Rotate the wrestlers at house shows more. I get that everyone wants to see the top guys at the house shows all the time but it is unfeasible.
