I've become rather disenchanted with Velvet over time. She can't handle criticism on social media even if it's not hateful. I've heard stories of her blocking people for simply mentioning problems with her character and matches. One YouTuber said he was blocked for pointing out that tweeting WWE about wanting a job was unprofessional because she was still getting paid by TNA.

I've got a question:

- Has there ever been a global pro wrestling company, whether it's WWE or WCW in it's heyday that has ever had events in South America? To me that seems like an untapped market for the WWE to go to that they haven't really explored yet. Right now, "Latin America" for WWE is basically Mexico and Puerto Rico and that's it. I would think that the WWE is a non-factor in cities like Bogota, Buenos Aires, Lima, Quito, Santiago, Montevideo, Asuncion, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. I don't doubt that those countries have their very own wrestling promotions, but I believe the WWE is not huge in those cities because those countries have not had the WWE exposure that the Europeans have had this past week or that the Japanese had in July.

I don't know if WWE or WCW ever ran events in South America, but I do think that the popularity of mainstream global pro wrestling promotions in that part of the world will come if and when wrestlers that are actually from there start to become relevant on the international stage.

You can point to a ton of Japanese pro wrestlers that had a decently popular run in North America. You can name a ton of Mexican stars and probably some Puerto Rican ones. You can name a lot of great Brits.

How many Brazilian wrestlers ever made it big in WWE, TNA, NJPW, WCW, ECW, AAA, ROH, Noah, AWA, NWA, CMLL, or AJPW? How many Colombians? Peruvians? etc.

Until these countries get their own Davey Boy Smith, Pedro Morales, Bret Hart, Rey Mysterio, or Jushin Thunder Liger they're not going to have a lot of reason to follow a wrestling promotion 1 or more continents away.
